The staff is very kind, they gave free food to us and items for our food. The bungalow is maybe basic, but that's exactly why everyone comes to Bukit Lawang, back to basic! The family bungalow gives you a lot of privacy and constantly seeing monkeys in the trees. On the first evening we spotted an urang utang walking next to our bungalow!

Amazing place, the location is superb in the centre of the picturesque village Bukit Lawang and next to the river! The staff is absolutely amazing, and the food wow.. Furthermore we did the 3 days/2night jungle trek with Andy and Jerry, which was absolutely incredible. The tour was full of insights on the local flora and fauna, accompanied by well organised base camps and great food. We can do nothing but recommend this place! Looking forward to being back, Lara and Stijn!

I loved the location of the jungle lodge, it was perched on a jungle hillside... truly amazing😍 I had Ian & Jeffrey as my guides & they were very informative and helpful throughout the jungle trek. Yanta was another assistant & I couldn't be happier about it... so kind & friendly :). Awesome experience! I will be back one day!

Situated in Andalas, 50 km from Hatta Palace, Livio Homestay features accommodation with a terrace, free WiFi and room service. With mountain views, this accommodation provides a balcony. Fuad, the owner is a beautiful person. Made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to make sue we enjoyed our stay in Harau Valley. Highly recommend and will definitely be back to visit and stay at Livio!

On The Rocks Bungalows, Restaurant and Jungle Trekking Tours asub Bukit Lawangis Mount Leuseri rahvuspargi serval. We were treated like family at on the rocks, wawan and his team were so helpful and friendly that we instantly felt at home. I cannot recommend staying here enough. We did multiple treks with Wong and he was wonderful, so much information to share but also never even felt like he was a guide. Treks can be suited for your fitness level but you are almost guaranteed to see orangutans no matter where you go. The restaurant was also delicious.

I stayed in a recently renovated room with beautiful views of the river! The restaurant attached has such a cool ambiance - a great place to read or study. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Rooms were very clean and neat and an easy walk towards the forest or shops nearby!

Aiavaatega Para para café & cottage asub Berastagis. Kohapeal on restoran, toateenindus, baar ja aed. Sinabungi mägi on puhkemajast 23 km kaugusel. The architecture of room that is like the batak traditional house. Comfortable even though there is no fan or air conditional. The family room is spacious. The resort has nice landscape garden. There is a vegetable farm beside the accommodation. Have nice view of Gunung Sinabung. Although breakfast is not included, it's cafe also serves delicious western food. Like the quiet yet calming of the atmosphere of the hotel. Highly recommended!

Balcony with Sea view. Only 10 meters to the Ocean (private beach). Free drinking water and hot water. It’s possible to buy coffee and small goods at the hostel. The owner is very kind. Bed is big and comfortable. Fan is enough to keep the room cool with open windows.
