Situated in Bukit Lawang, Orangutan Bungalow features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy free bikes, a garden and a terrace. Some units have a seating area and/or a balcony. We absolutely loved this place!!! Its location it’s perfect, really close to Gunung Leusere National Park entrance. Staff received us with a warm welcome and helped us to carry our bags to the bungalow. They all are helpful and looking after their guests. As soon as we arrived, staff informed us about trekking options, we decided to opt for 2 days trekking with a night in the jungle and rafting (note that rafting is optional but I would recommend you not to hesitate in hiring the activity, really funny). We started the trekking day after of our arrival with Rony and Klin, it couldn’t be better. Honestly, it exceeded our expectations! We saw plenty of different type of animals (and monkeys) orangutans of course! We enjoyed nature, met incredible people and we had lot of fun. Night in the jungle is an absolutely experience. Also mention to our chef, Huan who cooked us our lunch and dinner in the camp. We felt safe all the time with mentioned guides. Amazing experience

Situated in Bukit Lawang, Green Travelodge Bukit Lawang offers accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. Guests at the lodge can enjoy cycling nearby, or make the most of the garden. The location, accommodation and staff are excellent! The price is extremely friendly. If you want, they will get you ice-cold beer and water. Room with fan, no aircon, but was comfortable with 33 degrees outside temperature. To access it, you need a safe but wobbly pedestrian hanging bridge. Jack’s Bar across the river has two terraces and serves food.

I loved the stay in a hut so close to the nature, surrounded by quiet forest, stunning view and sound of river. Huts are simple, no electricity, which I liked. Owner took care of meals which were amazing. Also the trip to the jungle was very well organized with fruit snack and lunch. Huts are located on a hill to which lead a steep path but it is only 5 minutes hike. Alltogether maybe 30 minutes of walk from the village. You can leave your heavy stuff with owner and take only necessary things with you. During breakfast time expect visit of monkeys.

We had a great stay, Service and food was amazing. You only need to quit air conditioning as there are only fans in the beautiful Bungalows. Hotel als offer trekking tours and transfer- very good!

With city views, Palanta Roemah Kajoe Syariah Villa is set in Kampungdurian and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden and terrace. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly and polite. I am actually so impress with Padang's people hospitality. They are so welcoming its makes me feel so bad😅😅. The room is nice and the environment is very peaceful. The food ia good. Tea and coffee served in the cafe is sooo good I forgot to ask and buy some to take home.

With garden views, Para para cafe & cottage is situated in Berastagi and has a restaurant, room service, bar and garden. Mount Sinabung is 23 km from the lodge. The architecture of room that is like the batak traditional house. Comfortable even though there is no fan or air conditional. The family room is spacious. The resort has nice landscape garden. There is a vegetable farm beside the accommodation. Have nice view of Gunung Sinabung. Although breakfast is not included, it's cafe also serves delicious western food. Like the quiet yet calming of the atmosphere of the hotel. Highly recommended!

Only 10 meters to the Ocean (private beach). Free drinking water and hot water. It’s possible to buy coffee and small goods at the hostel. The owner is very kind. Bed is big and comfortable. Fan is enough to keep the room cool with open windows.
