The houses are beautifully designed with high quality materials and are perfectly heated, making them super cozy and comfortable. The surrounding scenery is absolutely stunning! The host was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home and the breakfast was simply delicious. The road to get there isn’t the easiest, but it’s absolutely worth it once you arrive. Plus, the sky is dark enough to see the northern lights and we were lucky enough to witness them - an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and high-quality stay.

Stunning views in every direction that you just can’t get enough of. Be sure to stay at least two days to fully enjoy this wonderful place and explore the surroundings.

Hvammur 6 with private hot tub is situated in Hafnarhólmur and offers a terrace. This lodge has a garden and free private parking. At the lodge guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. The location was great, in the quiet area, the place was very nice and comfortable. Beautiful views. Hot tub was ready to use and it was great to be able to soak in the evening.

Boasting a garden, The Little House offers accommodation in Bolungarvík with free WiFi and sea views. What a labour of love! This little house was the nicest accommodation on this trip. Small but perfectly done out. Well provisioned kitchen with a Nespresso machine and enough coffee for the entire stay. Hob, microwave and toaster, everything we needed for a great stay. Comfortable bed and the little ladder up to the sleeping loft wasn’t daunting although someone with mobility issues may struggle. We thought it was quite exciting. Very cute property, we absolutely loved it!

Cabin 1 at Lundar Farm is set in Varmaland. This lodge has a garden and free private parking. Reykjavík Domestic Airport is 102 km from the property. Great view and friendly owner.

Situated in Búðardalur in the West Iceland region, Ravencliff Lodge features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Very cute and warm cabin! Great location for northern lights, very quiet area! Soffia, the hostess was very kind and helpful with all her instructions! Very comfortable bed!

El Dis Cottages està situat a Grundarfjordur i ofereix vistes al mar, WiFi gratuïta i aparcament privat gratuït. Tots els allotjaments tenen un pati amb vistes a les muntanyes. A perfect cottage in the middle of silence. Dis Cottages is a place that is about 10 minutes away from Grundarfjörður town centre, with nothing much around it and will fascinate you. Before check-in, the hosts provided the necessary information clearly and it was a really smooth expreince. If you are lucky enough and the weather is clear, you can see the northern lights from where you sit in your room. Thanksfully we were lucky enough.
