Situated in Hakuba, Sakka Sanso offers accommodation with a terrace or a balcony, free WiFi and flat-screen TV, as well as a garden and a shared lounge. A beautiful, clean, and cozy place. Convenient location right next to the ski lift. The hotel owner is an incredible woman—she helped with any questions and even picked me up and dropped me off at the train station. The food was delicious.

Set 22 km from Ryuoo Ski Park, Marushige offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. All units feature air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. Our favourite thing about the property was the wonderful and welcoming host, Yuki. He was extremely helpful and it is thanks to him and his mother that Marushige is run so brilliantly. Our room was traditional Japanese style and extremely cosy - although we were sleeping on futons on the floor we were very warm. The shared bathroom was very clean and all of the other guests were very respectful. The location was perfect for both getting to the slopes on foot, visiting local onsens and getting dinner along the Main Street. One night we had dinner at Marushige and it was fantastic, we ate some very refined local cuisine - they even served us a local delicacy of horse meat sashimi (I have to admit that I could not eat it as I don’t really eat meat but my husband tried it).

Set in Chino, ノマの森 Nomanomori B&B offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a terrace and a bar. 10/10! Our stay at Nomanomori was absolutely wonderful, thanks to the incredible hospitality of Sen and Taka. Sen embodies warmth, kindness, and an exceptional welcoming spirit, while Taka has a calm strength and genuine caring presence that made us feel so at home. They took such good care of us, and our conversations were light-hearted, joyful, and truly memorable. If you’re looking for a place where you can relax, feel completely at ease, and connect with the lovely spirit of Japan, Nomanomori is perfect. We can’t wait to return!

Shiga Kogen Lodge features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Yamanouchi, 20 km from Jigokudani Monkey Park. There is a seating and a dining area in all units. Fantastic food, incredible hospitality from the hosts, great snow! A unique experience!

A 10-minute drive from Hakuba Happo-One Winter Ski Resort, Pension Tomato offers spacious Western-style rooms with a loft area. Everything! the couple that owned it was absolutely amazing. The accommodations were extremely comfortable and having the onsens on property was crucial.

A 10-minute walk from Happo One Ski Resort, guests at Log Cottage Epoch can rent out an entire cottage. Each spacious cottage comes with free Wi-Fi and includes a kitchen and a living room. Fantastic log cottages, very cosy and comfortable. A short walk away from Happo-One ski resort. The onsen is wonderful too.

Set in Hakuba, Il Bosco offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy free bikes, a terrace and a restaurant. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Everything, the room was perfect and warm, koki and Naomi give us excellent service..koki also cook very good dinner and bake a very niceeee bread.. the most delicious bread I ever had in my life.. his bread is a must!!

Situated in Hakuba in the Nagano region, with Happo-One Ski Resort and Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal nearby, Pension Marionette features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The location was awesome, quiet and tucked away but 30 seconds to Main Street echoland. The downstairs common area was soothing and relaxing, warm and inviting. I can’t say enough about Matsua and his hospitality and willingness to help. I HIGHLY suggest Pension Marrionette for several reasons. I’m solo but had two beds and upstairs loft that was either for morning relaxing yoga or to house another two individuals. I hope I return and can enjoy the Marionette again soon.
