We had fresh bread and jam, juice and coffee in the kitchen for our breakfast the next morning. A welcome drink in the bar on our arrival. The property had parking and a lovely swimming pool. Mondi Lodge offers an outdoor pool, tropical gardens and air-conditioned wooden bungalows with fully equipped kitchenettes and free WiFi. Blue Bay Beach is just a 2-minute drive away. I have been to over 90 countries and have stayed in countless hotels of all kinds. The Mondi Lodge is amongst the most memorable, special places I have ever had the pleasure to stay in, and I can't recommend it highly enough in every way. The people who own and run it are fantastic, the grounds are full of beautiful plants and animals, it has a cool pool area with a kitchen and a trust fridge full of drinks, you can drink the tap water, the breakfast is really tasty, with a different special every morning, its close to town, but beautifully quiet so you can hear birdsong not diesel engines, and all the rooms are wee separate houses, so no noise from other guests either. I chose the tree house room...the clue is in the name....and yes, its a 2 storey wooden house built round a banyan tree, with an outdoor shower, really comfortable big bed, and just the coolest terrace upstairs, with a fridge and kitchen area, where I actually spent so much time swinging in a hammock, I could hardly be bothered going out to see any of Curaçao's beaches. It is really, really special.

Providing a garden, Hotel Altocerro offers accommodation in Constanza. The lodge offers a terrace. If you would like to discover the area, hiking is possible in the surroundings. This place was awesome for a relaxing getaway. It was cozy and clean, a perfect escape from the city noise. The staff were really friendly and helpful too. I felt so refreshed after my stay. Definitely coming back here again! Included breakfast was great!

Serenity lodges deserves the highest credit. From the moment I arrived to the lodge , I fell in love with this place immediately. Wowww, pictures cannot describe the beauty of the nature. The lodge is situated in the middle of the rain forest, the trees, the flowers, the birds, the sounds of nature - you can all experience this at Serenity Lodges. The room is very cosy, well equipped with coffee facilities - you feel like at home. Wifi is super fast. The host - Lester picked me up from the airport, very friendly and helpful. You need to try the cuisine at the guesthouse - fish with rice and mango was awesome. Dinner was superb and sooooo delicious. I truly enjoyed my time at Serenity Lodges. Dominica is a beautiful country with friendly people and it deserves more attention from tourism. If you love nature and you wanna have a real experience in the rain forest - this is the best place to stay. PS. The hosts can support you with airport transfers, tours, food so do not hesitate to contact them.

A superb example of clever and appropriate architecture and design. It is cool, stylish, and gorgeous to look at, showcases beautiful natural wood. A lovely view of the "jungle" on the hillside. Very well equipped, incl washing machine, dryer, car vacuum and a hammock, which was fun to laze in. A 5 min drive from Grande Anse beach, it is a breath of fresh air after a day in the heat. Arrangements easy, parking available, good wifi. It is a unique choice when most other options are quite similar.

Objekat Le cocon NéAuNature, koji je smešten u gradu Anse-Bertrand, na svega 17 min. It’s a very unusual eclectic and creative space. It feels like a tree house as it’s practically open without windows. The house is very well designed and has some unusual features like a hot tub (which we found pointless in this climate), two bathtubs and lots of other creative touches. You can walk to a few nice restaurants and grocery shops. Despite the lack of an AC there was a cool breeze through the apartment and the temperature was ok to sleep well.

The house manager, Charmaine, was such a great help with recommendations and arranging events for us! The views and pools were lovely. Our studio had everything we needed. Very well equipped.
