If you're looking for a beautiful, eco-friendly retreat created and run by people who genuinely care about the environment, this is the place for you. Fred, the owner, built this Ecolodge himself with a clear mission: to be 100% sustainable. Every aspect of the property reflects that goal—everything is green, circular, and thoughtfully designed. The lodge is impressively clean, well-maintained, and full of character. The rooms are spacious, freshly renovated, and each comes with its own private bathroom. We stayed in the Double Room, which was very comfortable and equipped with a fan—perfect for keeping cool at night. All the essentials are available on-site, including kayak and snorkeling gear rentals, which made exploring the area super convenient. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the food. Sook Peng, Fred’s wife, is not only an incredible cook but also a truly warm and welcoming person. Sharing meals with her was a joy, and her cooking made every meal memorable. There are also cozy hammocks for relaxing, and the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to unwind. We couldn't recommend this place more highly—it's a rare gem built with heart and purpose. Oh, I was almost forgetting, both land and transport are organized by the Fred and Sook Peng and everything went super smooth! Terima kasih Fred and Sook Peng!

Hawun Valley Kiulu apresenta acomodações com ar condicionado em Tamparuli, a 39 km de Filipino Market Sabah, 34 km de Likas City Mosque e 39 km de Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village. Didn’t expect the room come with little pantry with ricecooker, water kettle, and stove to cook. Plates, cups and utensil for cooking also provided. But they only allow Halal food ya. There is fridge also. Room is very clean and love the sweet pink color room😆 pool is not too deep and have lovely warm temperature. This place is well maintain.

Situado no topo de uma colina com 100 metros e vista para a Reserva Florestal Kinabatangan, o The Last Frontier Boutique Resort está localizado em Bilit, a 2 horas de carro do bonito Sandakan. This was a fantastic experience and stay - altogether. The attentiveness of Jason and the staff makes it feel like a 5 star hotel, whilst the location and rustic feel makes it feel like you are truly in the heart of the jungle. You fall asleep to a light breeze and the sounds of the jungle. My wife is pregnant and we were a bit worried about mosquito diseases - but Jason explained that the ridge at which the hotel is at has barely any mosquitoes because of the altitude. He also suggested a non deet mosquito spray that really works. We had 0 mosquito bites during our stay. I can’t get all the things into a review. But such a gem of a place. Thank all of you ❤️

Bayu Senja Lodge apresenta vista do jardim, acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento privado gratuito em Kampong Kundassan. We stayed at this lodge for one night. It's very nice and comfortable lodge especially the room with balcony. It's beyond my expectations. Very clean and tidy room. The toilet is also very clean, shower and heater works properly and great. The view from this lodge is very amazing although mount Kinabalu is not at our side but the view is still very nice and amazing. Overall, Bayu Senja Lodge ( especially the room with balcony ) is very nice, good and comfortable to stay. The management should build more room like this in the future. Once the lodge canteen starts operating, the lodge has become much better place to choose for staying.

Borneo Jungle Adventure encontra-se em Kinabatangan e apresenta acesso Wi-Fi gratuito, um terraço e comodidades para churrascos. The staff was excellent Mica and Ten did an excellent job spotting the wildlife and were very knowledgeable answering any questions about the animals in the area. Fantastic experience

Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort situa-se em Sepilok, na região de Sabah, e dispõe de acomodações com estacionamento privado gratuito, assim como acesso a uma banheira de hidromassagem. Really amazing place to stay near all of the sights in Sepilok. I chose to walk everywhere and it seemed to be in a pretty central location. Food was tasty and staff was friendly.

Nulu View Cabin localiza-se em Kampong Kundassan, na região de Sabah, e fornece acomodações com estacionamento privado gratuito. Not only was the view from the room amazing, but the lady checking us in and out was so kind and helpful.

Apresentando vista do mar em Semporna, Maglami-lami Water House apresenta acomodações e um restaurante. Existe uma casa de banho privativa totalmente equipada com bidé e chinelos. Great view, great food, great location, fun and warm staff (special thanks to Jim , Dana and Liza). Comfortable room with lots of fishes just by snorkeling around the resorts.

Tampat do Aman localiza-se em Kudat e fornece acesso Wi-Fi gratuito, um jardim, um terraço e um restaurante. Amazing place to stay, fantastic owner, close to wonderfull beaches!

Com vista da montanha, Sabah Tea Resort encontra-se em Ranau e possui acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. Property is settled in beautiful nature surrounded by tea plantation with direct view to Mount Kinabalu. Challets are extremely good value for money, clean and comfortable. Restaurant offered very tasty food with very good quality at reasonable prices. We stayed there just one night when we were transferring from Kinabalu national park to Sepilok, but it was a great choice. We would wished to spend one day more there to explore the surroundings.
