The best stay I’ve had in years! 🏝️This is truly a relaxing Island experience and an opportunity for you to unwind in a secluded location. Thank you Sook Peng and Fred for helping my stay feels like home! They have arranged the transfer quite seamlessly, I got picked up from the hotel early morning to the pier and then to the island. The view is truly amazing as the lodge is right in front of the sea. They have everything you need for this Island: kayaks, snorkel masks, beach mats and coconuts (and beer which is a rare commodity in the island)! Thank you Sook Peng for the wonderful breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s wonderful to enjoy a hearty home-cooked meal by the sea. I also get to taste some delicious farm-to-table vegetables they’ve grown from their aquaponics farm ♥️ I’ve enjoyed my time on the island, there’s a dive centre 5-min walk from the lodge and it’s convenient if you’d like to join a dive or two. My room is right in front of the sea with a little garden, sun lounge area and a private entrance to the beach. You’re surrounded by nature and animals, I’ve seen cats, cows, tree frogs, big green turtles and more. Just be prepared for mosquitos at night, you can spray the room before you leave for dinner, I’ve also bought a “Deep Woods” repellent and some repellent wristbands which comes in quite handy. There’s no aircon in the room but the island breeze does help, the room is well-ventilated and there’s a fan and cooling machine in the room. Truly an amazing getaway, I must come back again!

Majutusasutus paikneb 100 meetri pikkusel mäel, kust avaneb vaade Kinabatangani metsakaitsealale. Last Frontier Boutique Resort asub Bilitis, kaunist Sandakani tänavast 2-tunnise autosõidu kaugusel. Lodging, meals, guiding... all was superb (including the sightings of pygmy elephants and orangutans). The people at the Last Frontier Resort are very passionate about their jobs and they excel at it. Rodel was a great guide and Jason went out of his way to make sure our onward journey by bus would work smoothly. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Would be 11 out of 10 (if that was a possibility). So if you get the chance - book it :)

Best parts staffs were swift and efficient to help out when in need.

Kinabatanganis asuvas majutusasutuses Borneo Jungle Adventure on tasuta WiFi-ühendus, terrass ja grillimisvahendid. Privaatses vannitoas on dušš, tasuta tualetitarbed ja kõik muu vajalik. Nice staff, good location, great river cruise. We saw local money, birds, proboscis money, orangutan …Dingkai is a very good chef and the food is delicious, Khai is a knowledgeable guide and he can always find the animals and birds quickly, Na-in is a good captain as we met a heavy rain at morning cruise.Grace always makes everything comfortable.Good transport arrangement.

Merevaatega Maglami-lami Water House asub Sempornas. Kohapeal on restoran. Privaatses vannitoas on bidee, sussid ja kõik muu vajalik. Puhkemajakesel on päikeseterrass. Great view, great food, great location, fun and warm staff (special thanks to Jim , Dana and Liza). Comfortable room with lots of fishes just by snorkeling around the resorts.

Lopsaka rohelusega ümbritsetud Tampat do Aman asub Kg Tiga Papanis, 30 km kaugusel Kudatist. Majutusasutus pakub lisatasu eest vastutulemise teenust (vt peenes kirjas infot). I was told of this place by a fellow traveller and I'm glad I listened to her. I loved that it felt like I was off the beaten track. Howard and his family made me feel so welcomed as soon as i arrived. He spent time with all guests each day having great chats. There's plenty of various types of accommodation. I stayed in the longhouse and it was fantastic. Howard is also highlighting the Rungus people (the local indigenous tribe) I loved that Howard is managing the place with an eco consciousness, starting with the compostable toilets! On one of the mornings I even participated in International Coastal Clean Up day along with all the locals at the local beach. I'm happy I stayed the 3 days. I definitely could've spent more time just doing not much but had to get back to catch my flight home.

A treasure in the mountains - if you are looking for absolute beauty and tranquility, this is the place for you. It is clean, has welcoming, kind staff and has an excellent restaurant. The views of Kinabalu are amazing, you can listen to the birds sing and have your morning tea surrounded by the tea fields. We wished we could have stayed longer!
