Located in Mantanani Island, GreenHouse Lodge provides accommodation with access to a garden. The property boasts reusable plastic materials, using energy-saving lighting and conserving rainwater. Amazing experience! Probably the most unique and beautiful places I have ever had the fortune to stay. Silk sand and crystal clear water! Sook Peng and Fred are wonderful and kind hosts who help to ensure a brilliant stay. They help to organize all the travel arrangements from your lodgings in Kota Kinabalu to the island via car and boat, and it all worked seamlessly. The food that Sook Peng cooked was simply fantastic and some of the best I have had during my whole trip. The lodge is very unique and they take their environmental responsibility very seriously. Staying on the island is a once in a lifetime experience. It’s completely deserted apart from a small village and there are lots of different activities one can do. (Kayak, snorkel, diving, guided walks). We did bonfires at night and spent the days in hammocks just meters from the beach as the local island cows wandered past.

Eco run lodge is alongside the river (not reachable by car - they will pick you up with a boat), rooms were refurbished, big and clean. As they say: there is no jacuzzi but you will get all the comfort needed. Providing 3 meals a day, Malaysian food one of the best we have had during all our trip in Borneo, plenty to eat, water, coffee and tea available at all times, also things from the bar (soft drinks, beer - extra charge, normal prices). All activities on the river were done on the highest level, team is very knowledgeable about the nature and the animals in the area - we have spotted many of them and also got some insightful information from the team.

Great view, great food, great location, fun and warm staff (special thanks to Jim , Dana and Liza). Comfortable room with lots of fishes just by snorkeling around the resorts.

Ubytovanie Sabah Tea Resort sa nachádza v destinácii Ranau a má bezplatné Wi-Fi a výhľad na hory. This was an incredible place. We spent a night in the longhouse and ate in the restaurant. The longhouse was brilliant. It was so exciting to have this experience and it was far more well appointed than we expected with sinks and lights in each room! The open air restaurant that looks out over the tea gardens and Mt Kinabalu is in a stunning setting and the food was delicious..None of us wanted to leave!
