This property is exactly as described and shown in pictures only better. We loved every minute. The outdoor tub, the night sky with one night even having a slight aurora glow. The Highlander cows who posed for photos. The delicious breakfast that came with the room, the glass bedroom. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners’ mother who stopped to check to make sure we were not lost while out exploring. While the location is a bit remote, that was what we were looking for, and it is a short drive into the town of Twizel and the nearby lavender farm. The Peace Ring was temporarily closed but we could see it from the road. Highly recommend!

Great hospitality from Brigette and Brooke. Such a special, beautiful place they have and what an experience for us. Our kids loved it, lots of space so we weren't in eachothers faces and the best part for them was the pool and biking around the farm. Thank you both for being so accommodating to our needs with parking our Stockcar trailer. Amazing hospitality 🙌

Offering free WiFi, an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Hapuku Lodge & Tree Houses is located in Hapuku. All accommodation offers a 2-person spa bath, a fireplace and a balcony. We stayed in the lodge rather than the tree houses. Fantastic accommodation with wonderful attention to detail, and great facilities such as a large spa bath, gas fireplace. Breakfast and dinner were included, and these were excellent. Great views back towards the kaikoura range, and a 15 minute walk will get you down to the beach for more fabulous views. The Lodge arranged whale watching for us, and were very helpful in answering any queries we had. Would definitely stay again.

Mel was a fantastic hostess, she greeted us with warmth and energy that brings happiness. She cooked cookies that were yummy. She was very easy to deal with and well presented with how things ran. we had a wonderful night and would easily stay again. We will tell our friends and family.
