It's an elegant and refined choice with a personal touch thats not found in large hotels. The breakfast was perfect, fresh, quality, beautifully cooked, stunningly presented and the coffee is also great. The location is lovely, quiet, relaxing and picture perfect.

We were often told that it was very small but comfortable. The room looked very cozy, but we had no space to prepare our packs properly. Fortunately, after a quick phone call with Jo, she was able to reserve an apartment. It was amazing! Super equipped, very spacious and above all very comfortable. Many thanks to Jo, we were able to switch so easily. We really enjoyed our stay and can only recommend the quarters.

Tongariro Lodge is located in 22 acres of secluded grounds, surrounded by a beautiful garden landscape and along the banks of Tongariro River. Great lodge with chalets in very nice surroundings. The restaurant at the lodge was very nice for breakfast and dinner. Staff was very helpful. They organized a day of fly fishing for us and helped us with transportation to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing.
