Situated in Ohakune in the Manawatu region and Turoa reachable within 23 km, Ruapehu Country Lodge features accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a terrace and free private parking. Our hosts Bernie and Marie did an excellent job at making us feel welcome to their home. It’s in a perfect position close to restaurants and hikes and the base of the ski fields. Bernie made us a delicious hot breakfast before we left.

Plateau Lodge is located 15 minutes’ drive from UNESCO World Heritage listed Tongariro National Park, where guests can enjoy skiing, hiking, cycling and paddling activities. I like the location close to the Mt. Ruapehu and the place is clean. Highly recommended.

Located in Bulls in the Manawatu region and Palmerston North Convention Centre reachable within 31 km, Lancewood Lodge provides accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private... Staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and comfy, very nice aesthetic overall.

Set in National Park, 15 km from Mount Ruapehu and 16 km from Taranaki Falls, Alpine Chalets offers accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and mountain views. Comfortable, well-stocked, clean, felt new. Proximity to groceries and to the couple restaurants that were open (we came in the off-season). And Mary was amazing!

Set in Rangataua, The Mountain Stable Studio offers accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and mountain views. I loved the view very quiet place it was great. However there was no milk or tea in placed usually other places they put chamomile or something like that ❤️ apart from it everything was great.

Offering a terrace and garden view, Tui Glen is set in Raurimu, 21 km from Taranaki Falls and 27 km from Whakapapa. This is a private cabin with everything you need. The covered deck is a great place to hang out, even when it’s raining. There is a wonderful private path down to a picnic table by a stream.

With garden views, River Valley Lodge is located in Taihape and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden and terrace. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Staff were exceptionally accommodating. The food was to die for!
