Sue and David are wonderful attentive and communicative hosts speaking reliable German and French. They made their house our home for 1 night. An amazing breakfast was served in the morning. Should we ever be crazy enough to fly more than 20.000 km to get here we definetely will check in again at the Mairenui Rural Retreat. Thanks you very much. Gregor and Johanna

Our hosts Bernie and Marie did an excellent job at making us feel welcome to their home. It’s in a perfect position close to restaurants and hikes and the base of the ski fields. Bernie made us a delicious hot breakfast before we left.

Plateau Lodge is located 15 minutes’ drive from UNESCO World Heritage listed Tongariro National Park, where guests can enjoy skiing, hiking, cycling and paddling activities. I like the location close to the Mt. Ruapehu and the place is clean. Highly recommended.

Lancewood Lodge ligger i Bulls i Manawatu, med Palmerston North Convention Centre bare 31 kilometer unna. Dette overnattingsstedet har gratis WiFi, grillutstyr, en hage og gratis privat parkering. Staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and comfy, very nice aesthetic overall.

Alpine Chalets ligger i National Park, 15 kilometer fra Mount Ruapehu og 16 kilometer fra Taranaki Falls, og har overnatting med hage med en terrasse, utsikt mot fjellet samt gratis WiFi. Comfortable, well-stocked, clean, felt new. Proximity to groceries and to the couple restaurants that were open (we came in the off-season). And Mary was amazing!

I loved the view very quiet place it was great. However there was no milk or tea in placed usually other places they put chamomile or something like that ❤️ apart from it everything was great.

Tui Glen har en terrasse og utsikt mot hagen, og ligger i Raurimu, 21 kilometer fra Taranaki Falls og 27 kilometer fra Whakapapa. This is a private cabin with everything you need. The covered deck is a great place to hang out, even when it’s raining. There is a wonderful private path down to a picnic table by a stream.

I Taihape ligger River Valley Lodge, som har en restaurant, bar, en hage, et felleskjøkken og terrasse. Boenhetene har utsikt over hagen. River Valley Lodge tilbyr både gratis WiFi og privat... Staff were exceptionally accommodating. The food was to die for!
