It's right down the road from the ocean and within walking distance to a few restaurants. The howler monkeys are loud in the morning, but it's exciting to be able to stay in nature and experience it so closely. Overall, you are instantly relaxed when you arrive at Jungle Paunch.

We stayed in Nathylodge for 3 nights and we were impressed by the warm welcoming of the owner Clarisse. She is amazing, kind and ready to help person! We felt like we came to friends. She also cooks incredibly tasty!! The territory of the hotel is very clean and tidy, a lot of green trees, flowers, grass. They take care of it very good. Also there is the private coral reef with amazing, beautiful corals. Lodges are good enough for 2 people, made in the province style, with big windows, big bed, hammock and two chairs to sit outside. Very clean, everything is new.

We loved the overall vibe of this property. The communal spaces to eat are really nice and you feel a real hostel vibe even though the rooms are private. We loved the hotel beach that is easily accessible from the grounds. We stayed in the Estrella cabin that overlooked another quiet beach, so we’d fall asleep to the waves every night. There is a Toucan rescue who comes by a lot. I got to see her during my shower along with seeing a sloth from our balcony. I paid to get a massage done on site, and Josie did an amazing job! Owners and staff are also all extremely nice people.

The owners of the hotel are extremely knowledgeable biologists and can organize for you, private or group tours, to every end of the archipelago, bird watching, night jungle trek, the best snorkeling spots, the most beautiful island in the whole Caribbean, the choice is wall to wall, take the opportunity and explore all the possibilities from Abel. Konsenda has his own boat, with the best captain in Bocas, it is possible to drive to the mainland and discover so much there by car. I will add that although you are absolutely in the jungle, the bungalow has all the comforts, frogs singing at night and birds singing in the morning are the only sounds, Popa Island is the most remote, the cleanest and the quietest, believe me, in the most beautiful coral gardens, you are the only ones! Well, I have to try to summarize briefly that - if you want to see Boca the way I saw it, book Konsenda, you are like a member of the family, you enjoy a good meal and only and only the beauty of nature.
