The selling point is certainly the view! The lodge is nestled on a hill and you can see Machu Picchu from a distance. The room was clean and comfortable but very basic. We had a nice area to sit outside and watch the sunset. There was a crazy intense storm that evening and it was an unforgettable and amazing show to watch from the cabin! I was very impressed with dinner, especially since it was just a father and son (I think?) running the lodge and restaurant and they covered dinner for over 20 people. It was a little late to come out, but it was the best meal I had during our Salkantay trek. Hats off to you!

Eco Quechua Lodge is an eco-friendly lodge offering private balconies with river and mountain views. Guests can take canopy, coffee, water falls, hot springs and hiking excursions. It is an oasis in Santa Teresa, on our way to Machu Pichu we stayed one night, although there are a lot of road works around it was a pleasent stay for this night. Staff was really helpful and kind, helped us with taxi to the great hot springs near by and to hydroelectrica the next day. Thanks!

The place is truly beautiful and peaceful. I found it very relaxing, especially with the yoga room located right above the river. The sauna was the perfect way to end the day. The accommodation is also conveniently close to the hiking trail to the Salt Mines (Salineras) — I absolutely loved it!
