Breakfast was tasty and they were preparing it earlier than usual as we had early morning tours. We felt very connected with the nature and spent amazing days.

Best is to be able to speak at least a bit of Spanish, because English is not their language. But it's a great way to practice your Spanish! Marta took me for a walk in the jungle on the property, so nice! And she was very helpful with arranging transport and a tour to Allpahuaya Mishana and the Manatee Rescue Center. Milagros was very helpful and kind during breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was great! The garden is lovely, and the pool too.

The whole experience is very well organized - from check in/ check out, transfers, experiences, meals. The stuff is very welcoming, warm, friendly and always trying to be helpful. The food was absolutely amazing! The cabañas are super comfortable and clean, the common area is very spacious and the outdoor space is a dream! Excellent, rustic stay and our guides Christian and Segundo couldn't have been better! Very cool guys and they are legit one with nature they know EVERYTHING about the Amazon life. The lodge itself is super cool - literally in the middle of the jungle. And the food is the best part of the stay, breakfast, lunch and dinner and they make sure you're never hungry! Excellent stay, felt safe the entire time including the included transportation from the airport and back. Highly recommend Jacamar if you want to truly experience the Amazon of Peru.

The Amazon Muyuna Lodge is an ecolodge in the Tamshiyacu Tahuayo Communal Reserve , situated on the Amazon River shore, 3 hours from the centre of Iquitos. All the meals were great and authentic to the area,good variety. The four days were all scheduled from morning to night which we loved. So much to experience from nocturnal jungle hikes and going out in the nocturnal hunt canoe ride. Many boat excursions, swam near pink dolphins, caught several piranha fish, saw many species unique to the area. Birdwatching. Took out the kayak and paddle board during our 2 hour afternoon rest. The remote private bungalows were so comfortable and clean. Loved resting in the hammock on our balcony. Guide Mosises spoke English well , very knowledgeable and grew up in the area. Flew to Iquito, had hotel pick up, a van drove part way before loading the boat to go down the Amazon river to our remote lodge 140 km upstream from Iguito. Very easy all inclusive experience.

Everything, the lodge is in the Amazon. The food is excellent, the staff are amazing. It’s clean, the pool was great. Surroundings and to sit in the garden looking at the Amazon river watching the dolphins you couldn’t ask for more. Also the excursions laid on were out of an adventure novel.
