We really enjoyed our 2 nights at the Utasa Lodge it was such a relaxing experience with wonderful views and the thick blankets kept us warm at night. And as an added bonus the kittens was a huge hit wit the kids. Thank you Raul and family for a lovely time.

Mama Lea, Papa Mario and their son Ivan are super friendly. The experience of sleeping on a small Uro island is unique and recommendable. Mama Lea is a very good cook! We had great meals. Transfer round trip is offered for 80 soles which is fair since it's around 30 minutes per way.

This was the highlight of my visit to Peru. I arrived on the Titicaca train in the early evening, and a driver had been organized to drive me to the local port, where I was escorted by Juan, an exceptional host in every sense of the word, to the island which he and his father had built. During my stay there, Juan invited me on mini tours around some of the islands, where I learned more about Uros culture and history. The Peruvian meals prepared by his wife Amalia were exceptional- always on time, delicious, substantial and inviting. I was never hungry. Juan ensured that my stay at Amalia was truly exceptional and something which I'll never forget- watching the starry nights from a comfortable and warm bed, enjoying the sounds of silence of the lake, being mesmerized by the sunsets, and learning more about the natural beauty and wildlife of the area. This was truly an amazing experience!

Very nice room with comfortable bed. We liked the blankets very much, they keep you warm during the night, of course with the help of Carlos that brings some hot bottles of water to put on your feet. The terrace and the view from the room are amazing, at sunset especially the colours of the lake are surreal. The food was also very good! Considering the kitchen they have, they made magic of it. We had a trip around the community with the host, Carlos, which we enjoyed a lot.

The way we were welcomed, we felt more like guests than clients. Félix showed us around the community, spent a lot of time explaining the history and traditions, and also booked additional trips for us. It was certainly a special moment during our trip in Peru, so would definitely recommend anyone staying at Uros Amaru Marka Lodge.

Henry and Mariluz provided exceptional hospitality and service, and the delicious meals were definitely a highlight. They were very accommodating and helped with all my transportation and other needs. The room was fantastic, featuring hot water, clean towels, comfortable mattresses, and cozy duvets that were perfect for the cold. The view was incredible, and I experienced the best starry sky of my life. All these elements combined made my stay at their lodge a dream, offering both comfort and warmth on the island. Cesar and Lucy were terrific hosts and offer a wonderful lodge and total Uros experience. Even before arrival, the quality of attention in organizing the boat pick-up was impressive. The boat ride itself was so relaxing and enjoyable. The lodge itself is just marvellous with spacious rooms, clean and very comfortable with fabulous views out into Lake Titicaca. The meals are nutritious and delicious, and if there are dietary issues, every effort is made to accommodate these. Most wonderful were the side trips, whether in the motorboat, the canoe, or the large raft, each of which offers a distinct experience. The Uros community is absolutely fascinating to learn about and Uros Samaraña is an ideal way to experience it.
