The rooms have a great view, huge comfy beds, and spotless clean private bathrooms (solar powered hot shower, so take your bath before dark :). The food is simply outstanding. Simple, but delicious and almost entirely locally grown, with fresh avocados, local herbs and sancayo cactus juice. The host and his family are very friendly and are doing a fantastic job running the place. Overall -- 100% recommend.

The location is incredible and the lovely staff were able to help us find a viewpoint over the valley and the hot springs. Sandra also made us a delicious dinner whilst catering to our specific dietary needs.

Llahuar Lodge is located along the trekking circuit of the Colca Canyon in Arequipa, approximately a 5-hour walk from the town of Cabanaconde, right at the union of the Colca and Huaruro rivers. Location and how cool it was to have a hot spring next to the river. The staff was very sweet, the mother hugged us as we left it was so cute.
