Our stay was EXCEPTIONAL! We loved this cozy little mountain suite. We weren’t sure if not staying on the beach was the right move but this place blew us away. We were so happy we decided to stay up in the mountains. Moeata greeted us upon our arrival and was so warm and welcoming. The place was very clean and comfortable and the views were next level. We woke up every morning at sunrise just to take in the incredible view of the mountains from the porch and eat breakfast. Wish was stayed longer!

Maharepa Lodges Bungalow ligger i Maharepa og tilbyr et utendørsbasseng, en terrasse. This is a lovely place to stay in Moorea. Laurent is a warm and friendly host. The accommodation is wonderfully clean and well presented. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. Ensuite is great. There is air-conditioning and a fan, both welcome in the humid heat. The setting is just wonderful, in a beautiful tropical garden with a lovely pool and area to relax along side it. There is a view of the sea, you can hear the ocean, and see the waves breaking on the outer reef. There is an outdoor kitchen above the bungalow, everything you would need including hot plate, microwave, fridge and washing machine. A lovely place to sit and enjoy a meal with the view. A word of caution to those who are less able: there are quite a lot of steps up to the bungalow as it is set on the side of a hill (but the best way to profit from the view). Laurent kindly carried my suitcase up for me. Just a minute or two walk down the road to the corner is a supermarket, which is very handy. I highly recommend this as a place to stay in Moorea.

The proximity to the lagoon was exceptional. We loved that kayaks were provided - we were able to get out to the far reefs on the lagoon. Staff were so accomodating and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the shower and bathroom facilities reminded us of our childhood beach houses. We loved being able to cook our own meals in the kitchen with oven, cooktop, stove etc. Excellent supermarket just down the road which was helpful.
