Beautiful location overlooking the valley and river. Very quiet in the woods. Great hospitality by the owner. They provided a nice breakfast delivered to our treehouse door each morning. We also ordered their charcuterie board and wine for dinner one night. It was fantastic. Lots of cheeses, meats, nuts , fish, bread and more. We had enough for 2 nights. Would recommend to those wanting a unique experience in a natural setting.

We booked the double room with balcony and had a magnificent river view. The room was bigger than I thought it was going to be, based on the size in the description. Everything very clean. The drive to the property with narrow, winding roads. Good thing they serve a delicious, inexpensive, dinner, because I didn’t want to drive that road too many times. We had good access to Geres National Park hikes, but we felt very secluded. Breakfast was included in the price and had everything you want, including eggs and bacon. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend.

I stayed here on March 17th, 2025. This was the best hotel in Portugal. It had amazing views, a great staff and great amenities. I will stay here frequently.

The perfect base camp for exploring nature and for hikes in the National Park, exactly what we were looking for. In the middle of the forest, quiet and remote, so perfect. So thankful for Amadeu's kindness and generosity has a host, he made our stay even better.

Peneda is truly an amazing place for a nature getaway. Both the location and the house provide a very cozy rural experience. There are several beautiful hiking paths nearby. Finally, the hosts are extremely nice, provided several tips and suggestions on places to visit, hiking paths, restaurants, and had placed some snacks on the house for us upon our arrival. We are looking forward to return there in the future!

Objekat Riba Rio - Unique Nature Spot ima pogled na reku, besplatan WiFi i besplatan privatni parking, a smešten je u gradu Ponte de Lima, na 32 km od znamenitosti Pristanište mesta Viana do Kastelo. This house has an absolutely great garden - almost a park. It is situated next to a very clear, cold river that forms a wonderful pool within the property. You can go swimming there. It helped us staying cool during the third terrible summer heat wave. The garden is beautifully maintained, has lovely tall trees and there are flowers everywhere. The owners have designed it with interesting details, like swings, hammocks, a small raft, etc. You have many possibilities to do outdoor games: table tennis, darts and others. The owners live next door and a very friendly. We'd loved to communicate more, but unfortunately we don't speak Portuguese. The house stays cool during the heat, because it has very thick stone walls. The property is next to the Camino de Santiago. The staff of the company that takes care of letting the house is very supportive and responds immediately if you need something. We definetely recommed this house.
