The breakfast was very simple but perfect, the hotel is so clean, with all the issues that Zanzibar has with power supplies the hotel has a good generator making sure that we don’t feel much the daily country power cut. Very cozy place good for a chill and family also .

First off, I want to thank Jessica for her communication and kindness during our stay. She was very helpful! Secondly, I appreciate the property manager for answering the phone for us when we were trying to find the location when we first got here. I was frustrated and he assured that he would come get us from wherever we were to make sure we made it to the property ok. The room was very clean and lovely. We stayed in the beach front villa. It was beautiful night and day. As an American (because you know we love our A/C), I was very happy about the cold A/C they had in the room. It was never hot and this was appreciated as Zanzibar is hot and humid. We had a hiccup in regards to the breakfast in the room/at the pool. I originally planned to have it on a specific day but it did not show up on that day. I spoke with the staff and they served it to us the next morning. We also had a late check out and i was very thankful they let us stay in the room past check out time. We were able to enjoy our in-room breakfast because of this and did not feel rushed at all. Shower great. Bed great. Very spacious room. The amenities in the room were also nice. I read online somewhere that the hotels typically try to keep the beach locals away from the property to the best of their ability. I will say, be prepared to constantly be sold to when trying to relax on the property. All day long , there was constantly “beach boys” trying to sell you stuff. I appreciate the security guard on the beach keeping the other tourist away from our beach swings. So many of them walked up and he kindly asked them to leave. This was nice because I feel like there would have been a line had he not been there to do this. It made us feel special. They arranged an airport drop off for us and got us on our way in time.

The location is beautiful, the facility/architecture is very special, right on the beach and quiet. Family owned, Joyce is a very special host and always there for us. All staff very very kind. The food was exceptional—every single meal was a delight. From fresh, flavorful breakfasts to the most delicious dinners, everything was prepared with so much care and attention to detail. I looked forward to every meal because I knew it would be amazing. My room was perfection—spacious, beautifully designed, and so comfortable. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and having my own private space to relax made the experience even more special. But what truly made my stay unforgettable was the staff. Every person I encountered was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to ensure I had the best experience. Their kindness and hospitality made me feel at home. This trip was a huge step for me as a solo traveler, and staying at Zanbluu made it one of the best experiences of my life. I left feeling so happy, refreshed, and already thinking about when I can come back!

The location and property is truly magnificent and exactly what you want if you’re looking to escape the busy crowds of stone town or nungwi. The staff is wonderful and kind, the restaurant great, and the pole pole island vibe lived to perfection. I would always come back!

Demani Lodge Backpackers Zanzibar se nachází ve městě Paje a nabízí venkovní bazén, restauraci, Wi-Fi a pokoje s výhledem do zahrady, venkovním posezením a ventilátorem. It was very clean and spacious, it’s very close to the beach too, quiet neighbourhood. Rooms were cleaned regularly and the staffs were really great. The breakfast was really delicious and filling

The staff- from the reception to the restaurant to room service, everything was exceptional. Very welcoming, respectful and always checking to see if everything was okay. My favourite was syril, his customer service skills were top notch!. Anna was also super welcoming! The food- This was the highlight of the trip. From seafood to fruits, everything tasted very good. Would I change anything in the meals if asked? Not at all. Hats off to the chef/s The hotel has activities you can do while staying there. From mnemba island to reef tours, this was very great. Less hustle for the guests. The place is quiet and peaceful. With rooms overlooking the ocean and a pool This is honestly the best place to stay in Zanzibar!
