New ZealandWe've stayed at Almond Court before and found it exactly what we needed for our stay for ice hockey. The lovely owner had turned the lights on for us and thoughtfully put the heat pump on 24, as it was only 2 degrees outside. Check in was a breeze and we were very comfortable. There is a small oven, hot plates, microwave....all you may need if you are self catering, like we were. We enjoyed the recliner chairs, Netflix, comfy beds and good pressure in the (dated) shower.

Kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and 2 supermarkets neighboring motel made it super easy to cook for ourselves. Great to be able to have our dogs with us. Set up for dogs was great with a back door that opened to court yard with grass patch out front. Motel very accommodating with allowing us a late check out when someone in our group was unwell.
