The extremely friendly, helpful Hosts and Staff. Betty Ann went above and beyond to help us out when we let her know that we'd come expecting to be in a self-catering unit - completely our mistake as we have a different definition of "kitchenette" in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 . We expected a kitchen sink and dishes, cutlery etc.

Huron Sands Motel and Restaurant is offering accommodation in Providence Bay. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, room service and an ATM, along with free WiFi. The location is a 30mims drive from South Baymouth where the ferry lands. The drive is serene and the location is walking minutes away from the harbour. The rooms are clean, the service was above and beyond both by the restaurant at Huron Sands and the rooms. The owner and the staff gave us the best experience. Kindness and humbleness go a long way, so does smiling and they never refrained from it.

I have health conditions that put me at higher risk for adverse reactions, and was very happy to see masks worn at the front desk. Because of that I felt safe chatting a bit and got tips on what to see on beautiful Manitoulin island -- Providence Bay, cup & saucer trail, etc. Room was very clean as well, would stay again.
