Wayside Motel Manitoulin is located in Manitowaning. All rooms feature a refrigerator and a flat-screen TV with cable channels and an HDMI cable. Guests can enjoy high speed internet. We were travelling with children so I appreciated the size of the room, the additional plates, cutlery, towels, TV channels. Everything about the stay was great.

Betty Ann went above and beyond to help us out when we let her know that we'd come expecting to be in a self-catering unit - completely our mistake as we have a different definition of "kitchenette" in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 . We expected a kitchen sink and dishes, cutlery etc.

The location is a 30mims drive from South Baymouth where the ferry lands. The drive is serene and the location is walking minutes away from the harbour. The rooms are clean, the service was above and beyond both by the restaurant at Huron Sands and the rooms. The owner and the staff gave us the best experience. Kindness and humbleness go a long way, so does smiling and they never refrained from it.

Within 700 metres of a restaurant, Hawberry Motel is located on Highway 6 in the town of Little Current on Manitoulin Island. Thank you for offering a quiet, clean plase and COVID-safe check-in. I have health conditions that put me at higher risk for adverse reactions, and was very happy to see masks worn at the front desk. Because of that I felt safe chatting a bit and got tips on what to see on beautiful Manitoulin island -- Providence Bay, cup & saucer trail, etc. Room was very clean as well, would stay again.
