We needed a place for two weeks that was close to Otago University. Sahara studios was perfect. Clean, comfortable, homely, cooking facilities, close to the main town and the university and Julie and Mike and Mel were super nice. We have found our regular spot to stay in Dunedin. Opened in January 2017, the adults only Cromwell Escape is located 3.7 km from Central Otago District Council in Cromwell and only 100 meters from the new Lake Dunstan cycle trail. Beautiful, comfortable and perfectly clean separate house with a lovely yard right on a little lake. The owners were welcoming, friendly and helpful. There is a washing machine and clothes line, a bbq and bikes to borrow. Everything you need for a perfect escape!
