Excellent (and cheap) food served in a cosy garden-like restaurant, with a playground available to keep the kids busy (and their parents relaxed 😉) All in all, highly recommended for a stay in Călărași or simply to get a good meal in a nice ambient. PS: I've noticed that the restaurant is a good place to host large events such as birthday parties, weddings etc.

Motel Alexander se nachází 1,5 km od města Olteniţa a nabízí bezplatné půjčení jízdních kol. Wi-Fi je dostupné zdarma. 10/10 – Would move in if they let me! Wow – what a stay! The room was spotless (like, could-eat-off-the-floor clean… though we didn’t test that). The location? Chef’s kiss! Right in the heart of everything – we barely needed Google Maps. The service was incredible – everyone was so helpful and kind, I started wondering if they secretly knew us from somewhere. They even smiled before coffee, which should be an Olympic sport! We had an amazing time both at the hotel and exploring the city. Honestly, we left feeling rested, happy, and already planning our next visit. Huge thanks to the whole team – you guys made us feel like VIPs… or at least VHPs (Very Happy People)!
