The room was comfortable and the staff friendly. The owner, Yakob, was kind and helpful. He told me a lot about the area and lent me a book to read on the history. I was also lucky enough to go to the market with Yakob and learnt a lot about various vegetables and their medicinal value! Yakob gave me good advice about travelling to Bagdogra. I took the scenic route, which was much better than the highway route. The vegan breakfasts and dinner I had were delicious too. My time in Kalimpong was special and made more so by staying at Mission Valley. I'd like to return one day!

Staying at Mansarover home stay was a delightful experience.. we had a wonderful time.. Mr. Gurung and his family made us feel completely at home.. We had all our meals at the homestay and the food was mouthwatering.. everything was homemade, delicious and tailor made to our liking! My kids were over the moon when they saw waffles served for breakfast! The home stay was neat and clean. They have a lovely balcony with a great view of the mountains.. Mr. Gurung drove us around the area and took us to Siliguri for our return journey the next day. He is very knowledgeable about the history of Kalimpong and he acquainted us with all the prominent landmarks and heritage buildings in and around the charming town. We look forward to visiting Mansarover homestay again!

Everything was excellent. It's a new luxurious hotel. The staff were friendly and kind, the room was luxurious with a wonderful smart TV. The food was great value. It was nice to have breakfast on my balcony.

Breakfast was wonderful with Service at the table. Missed the Bacon with the eggs; but the standard of the coffee made amends. The Service was just unparalleled with some being better than the others and they all had the old world charm of being happy to feed/serve you. Basudeb, Anjali, Abhijit, Jonas were the outstanding service staff. Sushanta Ghosh, the manager runs a tight ship and realising it's a small boutique hotel extends an individual warmth and attention.

Basically It is a good Restaurant, food is very good but Hotel facilities are worst. Hotel service starts from 3 rd floor and neither lift service not any person is available for shifting the luggages. Drinking water is also not available in the room. I suggest not to avail this hotel but you may go for food.

    A very picturesque property, with nicely done up rooms and a pretty garden. Our children loved the attic room. Sophiya, Mary and their staff provided service with a smile. Tasty, home cooked food. For dog lovers like us, the resident dogs were a great bonus.....in particular, Sheri - who would regularly stroll in to have her head scratched. We would definitely lke to visit again and definitely recommended for a relaxed holiday.

    Our hosts and their staff were very kind, friendly and helpful. The property was clean, spacious and had several open areas for having outdoor meals or children playing with the pet dogs. Overall it felt like home away from home.

    Tenam Garden was exactly what we were looking for. Clean and homely place, very tasteful interiors, pet friendly, lots of natural beauty, beautiful behaviour, helpful owner and staff, good food, connection with nature, proximity to Deolo as well as town market, easy to avail transport, amazing bonfire and what not. The list is pretty long. This was my parent's first homestay and now they are in love with homestays and we will only consider Tenam Garden whenever we visit Kalimpong.

    The location was absolutely beautiful with amazing views of the kachenjunga right from our room. The home cooked meals were really tasty. Mary was a great host and helped us with everything we needed. The place was beautifully decorated and made us feel like we didn't ever wanna leave. They had many pets and they were adorable. Will definitely stay here again.

    It is a little haven full of plants, seems a world away from the hustle and bustle of town. Very much enjoyed our stay. Good location. 10/15 min walk into the town. Very accommodating host and staff, a plus for us were the 3 Great Danes, A German Shepard and some smaller dogs who we got to stroke each day!
