This was just wonderful, I’d have stayed longer had it been available. Such a cutely furnished tiny house. The lovely hosts are always trying to improve these already excellent cabins by adding more thoughtful details. I loved the skylight above the bed. Best light for reading. Drift off to sleep with the stars twinkling above you. Great Deeside walks just outside the front door. Perfect cosy place for two; I’d say fitting four in here might get a little cramped, especially if you’re going to leave 4 people’s luggage lying around randomly. Hot tub a nice feature. One commenter complained about not being able to use it in the rain, which, frankly, is weird. When you’re immersed in hot water, the rain can’t touch you. The hosts were extremely friendly, and, in my case, literally went that extra mile! Big thank you to Karl, Bess, and Stacey!

The room was perfectly clean The beds were a bit too soft but still comfy The breakfast was very nice, you could ask anything to be cooked, the woman with her pink fringe was adorable, really taking care of us. Hot and cold options The size of the room was good The staff was very nice The location was in the countryside, not far away from the distilleries The view of the bedroom was nice, view in the garden Small shampoo, shower gel, biscuits, water for free !

Nastanitev Alba - Charming boutique forest view cabin with hot tub in Ballater se nahaja v mestu Ballater in nudi vrt, teraso, brezplačen WiFi ter razgled na vrt. Cabin was clean and warm. Location was good as many things to do within driving distance. Would definitely recommend it. Perfect if you're looking for somewhere to base yourself. Going up ladder for top bed good for older kids.

Beautiful spot in a really unique setting. The hosts have done an incredible job. Sharon and Kevin were very friendly and the communication was excellent. The Bothy was cozy and immaculately clean. We loved getting to enjoy the wood burning stove. The kitchen is well equipped to enjoy your own meals and the bedroom is nice and big and very comfortable. Great location just a short drive from the Moray Coast and the many (many!) distilleries in the region.

Loved the fireplace and how cozy it felt. Great shower. Loved the little garden with all its fairy lights. The whole place was just right!

Great location and walk to the town from the house. Wood fired tub was a nice experience. Such a well out tiny home, family of 4 was very comfortable!
