Everything!! The Sherpa family are amazing, and the staff at the hotel go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Nima organised a local driver for 3 days who took us to markets, local sight seeing and all the way back to namchi/pelling. Our Gangtok trip wouldn’t have been so amazing/easy without their help. They even lent us jackets for Tsmogo Lake. Aunty’s cooking was so delicious that we ate at the home stay every night. Coming from Australia, we were a bit bewildered with how far apart towns and cities are and they explained and recommended how to do Sikkim after Gangtok. The view from the home stay is incredible, so glad we chose here at the top of the Gangtok hills for the views

It was one of the cleanest places I've stayed at and the staff were super kind. Loved the views from my room, the beautiful pets and the really yummy homely food. The common areas were beautifully set up. Zami was a wonderful host and helped me with everything I needed. They have an amazing cafe with events almost every evening. The food there is exceptional and it gave me the opportunity to meet new people. Overall I would definitely stay here again when I visit Sikkim.

I Gangtok, 2,1 kilometer fra Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, ligger Jo'stel Heritage - Tadong Tashi Hotel and Spa - Near MG Marg - 4 Star Hotel, som har et treningsstudio, gratis privat parkering, en... Indeed one of the best hotel I ever stayed. Hotel is really an epitome of hospitality. The rooms are very premium and well decorated with all luxuries. The balcony has Kanchenjunga View. Food is also awesome. Spa is also good. Hotel is near MG Marg.

The Blue House ligger i Pelling i Sikkim, og har balkong og utsikt over elven. Her får du en hage, en bar, utsikt mot fjellet og gratis WiFi over hele overnattingsstedet. I arrived in Pelling strung out from a long and a bumpy journey. I booked this place en-route and the host promptly accepted my request for a stay. What was even better was that he provided detailed instructions on how to get there and made arrangements for my transportation to get there. All very kind indeed. You might read this and think this is an above and beyond hosting but hold that thought until i get to the very end of my stay with this amazing host, Shwetank. He made all arrangements from little snacks when i arrived and dinner a bit later. The following day he made an itinerary for me to go see sightsee and as if this all was not enough- he arranged for a bike to wander around. The place is perched on a corner of a hill that soaks in abundant views from the mighty Kenchanjengha peaks. I timed myself to wake up at the break of the dawn as the host suggested and was i in for a surprise. The giant mountain received first rays of golden light fairly early on and i settled in with a coffee again offerred by my host Shwetank. It was one of the best coffee, too. Saying this as somewhat a coffee fanatic. Anyway back to the beautfy before my eyes, the sun danced around early morning and gave us some of the best views i have ever had of a mountain. It would be an understatement to say i recommend and would definitely visit anytime i can.

Staying at this homestay felt just like being with family. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and their warm behavior truly made the experience special. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape that added to the charm. The food was absolutely delicious—home-cooked, authentic, and easily some of the best I’ve had during my travels. On top of that, everything was offered at very affordable rates, making it a great value for money. I’m genuinely grateful for the hospitality and care shown by the owner and their family. This homestay isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place where you feel at home. Highly recommended!
