Amazing experience, would go again if I go to the South of Italy. Great staff and overall great room. Everything was very comfortable and spacious. The rooms had a very authentic feeling even though it was new it felt like an old Italian building. We did not try the pool but it looked clean. Breakfast was great.

The masseria is a beautiful and well-kept place. The highlights of the property are the spacious and beautifully minimalist rooms, the garden and pool area which are also very pleasant, and the staff, who are truly attentive and caring. Breakfast, with all the homemade pastries, was a joy every morning, and I want to mention the lovely and dedicated women who work there (and who doted on our baby <3). The masseria’s wine is very good, and the tarallini were the best we’ve ever had.

This is located just outside the tiny town of Cellino San Marco. There's not much in the town itself, but you can relax well in the vineyard itself, and go by car to nearby cities (e.g. Lecce, Manduria). The SPA is small, but welcoming, and they offer massages. You can stroll around the grounds and pet the cat for instant relaxation. When there is no-one manning the reception, make sure to phone, the "be back soon" needs to be taken lightly.

A large estate in the Curtiptrizzi area outside Cellino San Marco, Tenute Al Bano is in the Salento countryside.

The whole place is unique!! It is in the middle of nothing so to speak, but then again a vineyard of that size cannot be in the heart of a town. Pool area was closed as we visited in April. Restaurant was superb with live music Friday night. very rustic and enchanting place! Had great walks around this huge park.

Stayed here for 2 nights mid Sept on a 2 week tour of Puglia. Arrival at the hotel was a bit surprising as it's located right next to a main road, albeit not super busy, and the entrance roads are a bit 'back alley' until you get to the security gate which then allows you access to the hotel compound. Your trip from reception which is in the parking area takes you through what seems to be a run down/old area of the hotel before you get to the newly refurbished area where the pool, bar and overall facilities are modern and clean. We had the added bonus of staying in the stone Trulli you see on the main picture which was a surprise and a treat, really quirky and a very well done conversion which was very clean and had comfortable & quality feel to it. Breakfast was OK, you have the option to eat it outside under a covered area weather permitting, or in a breakfast room which is rather functional and feels quite budget versus 4 other places we stayed in at a similar price point. Good location for exploring around and overall a pleasant enough stay, not necessarily somewhere you'd want to be for days on end as nowhere to walk to and you feel quite enclosed, and traffic noise occasionally reminds you just where you're located
