Resorts in Pokhara

This property is perhaps the best property in Pokhra. Huge cottages and I highly recommend taking one with the balcony. It’s worth every extra penny for the upgrade. The location is spectacular as it’s right next to the cable car starting point to go to sarangkot (9min ride). We met the owners - Dorje and Jen - wonderful hosts. I have to highlight one of their staff Tilotama - who works at the reception. It’s rare to come across someone who goes so over and above the required responsibilities. She started coordinating with us a day before the arrival and arranged everything for our pickup (which is free from the airport!) to arranging our activities like paragliding and bungee jumping even though we were checking out the next day and all coordination was from the other hotel. Even after our checkout she checked in with us to make sure everything went well and if we needed any other help. This kind of customer service left us completely awed as you don’t get to see the is in 99.99% hotels. Whether one or more nights, highly recommend to include this hotel during your stay at Pokhra. Everything about this hotel was absolutely amazing and above expectations. The staff went above and beyond, the facilities were incredible and breakfast was to die for. Will definitely choose this place everytime I'm in Pokhara.

Well they helped me plan my proposal so this is going to be a special place always. :)

The chef of this hotel is amazing, we eat vegan and got a different expansive breakfast every morning. Things like vegan coconutporridge, vegan scrambled eggs and vegan omelet, fried tofu and buckwheat pancakes with local honey and seasonal local organic fruits. Dinner was the same, we looooved the Nepalese potato soup, you should try it, pure comfort in a bowl! The hotel staff was super super friendly, always smiling, paying attention to our needs and quick in response. Everything is clean and comfortable. Nice that they have a swimmingpool to cool off + spa services like massages.

Resort staff are the most attentive and thoughtful. They also arranged a wonderful anniversary cake and decorated room for us. We loved that the resort has easy access to town but also on a secluded private sanctuary.

The breakfast collection was awesome. The manager was really helpful as he accommodated to provide booking extension for the day earlier than that of my booking date. The room service was wonderful. The resort was amazing as they even provided the shuttle pick up from airport to the venue with early check in as well as early check out service. Will definitely book the same resort in future whenever I stay in Pokhara.

The views were spectacular. The location is unreal, you are on a hilltop so you get panoramic views, even in your opposite walls re glass overlooking two separate valleys!

Our one-night stay at Raniban Retreat was short but deeply restorative—just the kind of peaceful escape we didn’t know we needed. Perched above Pokhara, this hidden gem offers stunning panoramic views of the Annapurna range, Phewa Lake, and the city below. The moment we arrived, it felt like we had been transported to another world—quiet, calm, and wrapped in the embrace of nature. The retreat is beautifully and tastefully designed to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings. Winding stone paths, wooden cottages, and lush greenery all contribute to a sense of tranquil isolation that melts away the noise and stress of city living. Even though we were there for just one night, it was more than enough to recharge our social batteries and reconnect with ourselves. The hospitality at Raniban was equally unforgettable. From the start, the team was warm, attentive, and thoughtful. Pradip, the operations manager, made our check-in a breeze and later surprised us with a heartfelt farewell ceremony steeped in Nepali tradition—a touching gesture that left a lasting impression. Rakesh, the manager, was ever-present to ensure everything ran smoothly. A very special mention goes to Asvin, who went out of his way to take care of us throughout our stay. He thoughtfully surprised us with an impromptu candlelight dinner—a magical and unexpected gesture that made our evening extra special. He was always on hand to assist with our questions, and his attentiveness and genuine warmth made us feel incredibly well cared for. The food at Raniban Retreat was another highlight—fresh, organic, and packed with flavor, much of it sourced directly from their own backyard garden. Dining with a view of the Himalayas made every bite feel like a celebration. Despite a minor setback with a piece of broken luggage (damaged during our flight), the staff went above and beyond to help us manage the issue.
