Walid and his family were so kind and helpful! He's an architect of the Arabic design style, and those elements are everywhere. What a beautiful space! Also, do not miss the opportunity to have dinner and breakfast added to your stay. The family does an amazing dinner cooked with wood fire underground. They allowed me to video the process, which starts hours before dinner. Truly one of the best meals of our trip in Egypt.

Steigenberger Resort Achti je luxusní rezort o rozloze 8 akrů, který se nachází na břehu řeky Nil, uprostřed svěží tropické zahrady. It´s one of the best hotels I ever stayed at. The rooms are perfectly designed, luxuriously furnished, with nice balcony from which you can enjoy views of the two swimming pools and lovely park. Beds are great, light in the bathroom perfect.. Another side of the hotel is even better; another swimming pool with drink service and lovely view over sailing boats and river Nil, which is very clean here in the city of Luxor. This hotels gives you great, double security entrance. But all staffs are exceptionally polite , waiters, cleaning ladies , receptionists... and give you always smile. The breakfast is something you have to taste by yourself, otherwise it would be take too much time to describe it. With so many facilities this hotel was great experience for me. It's really pity that Luxor is so far away from my country, otherwise I would come here every few month. And for these money?? it's really great value!! I don't want sound like publicity from tourist agency, but with Karnak temple and Walley of the kings, it's one of the greatest place I ever seen... In the city is a good restaurant names Jewel of the Nile, quiet place of European style and music.
