The mango guest house is really a little oasis on Elephantine Island. Mohammed was amazing to us and he allowed us to meet Ahmed who took us on his feluka. That was the highlight of this travel to Egypt. The hotel itself is calm, super clean, with a comfortable room. You have to take a boat to join the hotel but it passes often and only costs 10EGP per person.

Obelisk Nile Hotel Aswan Resort is located on the Nile Corniche, just 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Aswan. All rooms have a garden view. Beautiful hotel by the banks of the Nile in Aswan, one of the best and central locations in the city. The staff was very helpful, the room was clean and good sized. They also helped us with a breakfast takeaway box for our early morning trip to Abu Simbel. The only small improvement I would suggest would be for them to get slightly more firm mattresses.

We stayed here for three nights and loved it. The temples can be done in one day, but this hotel is so nice that we felt sad leaving. The staff is super friendly.

Miral Nubian House mempunyai taman, kawasan pantai peribadi, lounge berkongsi dan bar di Aswan. The location is in a tranquil nubian village on the west side of the Nile. If you're with the car, you easily exit on a highway towards the Aswan Dam of Abu Simbel. The courtyard is a traditional one, the room was big, clean and with a good wi-fi. The host was careful and the surroundings looked safe. We also parked the car at the gate front and it was ok. The breakfast was tasteful and we served it outside in the courtyard. On the evenings, the lights from the courtyard make a warm and nice atmosphere. A good value for money!
