Coconut Grove Beachfront Cottages offers beachfront accommodation in Matei on Taveuni Island. Each cottage has a private sun terrace and the resort offers massages in a private beach bure. Oceanfront location with proximity to other services if needed (grocery store, airport, other resort restaurants). Small number of guest cottages/guests on site. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We appreciated all of the information provided before we arrived to insure a comfortable and pleasant experience. Excellent snorkeling within a short boat ride from the property.

My partner and I stayed here for one week and our expectations were exceeded! We didn't see many photos online, so we weren't sure what to expect. The views were absolutely magnificent, topped by gorgeous sunsets each evening. The room was so spacious and luxurious, the food was delicious, and everything felt so peaceful. From the moment we booked, Storm took amazing care of us - she anticipated our needs, and made us feel so special, and truly made our stay. The restaurant staff were so wonderful as well - Millie, June, William - and Raymond was an absolute legend. He provided the most luxurious, personalised service, but with such a laidback approach. Nestled in the midst of a tropical rainforest, the Paradise Taveuni boasts an outdoor pool, a day spa and diving/snorkeling facilities on-site. Guests receive daily cooked breakfast. The snorkelling out the back of the hotel was lovely. There was a large staff to customer ratio which meant there was always someone to help you. Lots of lovely plants at the hotel and the rooms were nice. Free water refills is always appreciated.
