We had the most incredible stay at Mai Sunset Island Resort in Fiji, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality of the staff made us feel like family. The resort is a true paradise, nestled on a pristine beach with swaying palms and crystal-clear waters that seem to glow at sunset—hence the name, and it absolutely lives up to it! Our bure was a perfect blend of traditional Fijian charm and modern comfort, with a cozy bed, stunning ocean views, and an outdoor shower that felt like a little slice of luxury under the stars. The food was a highlight—fresh, local ingredients crafted into delicious meals, with the coconut ice cream being an unforgettable treat. The compulsory meal plan was worth every penny, offering a variety of dishes that showcased Fijian flavors. The activities were endless and so much fun—snorkeling over vibrant reefs, kayaking along the shore, trips to the local village or just lazy stroll along the beach. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every experience was seamless, always with a smile(thank you Male, Nivi, Ave, Vinie, Rauga). What truly sets Mai Sunset apart is its serene, intimate vibe. It’s not overcrowded, so you feel like you’re in your own private oasis. The connection to Fijian culture was also special—learning about local traditions and seeing the care put into every detail made the stay meaningful. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, reconnect with nature, and create memories that last a lifetime, Mai Sunset Island Resort is pure perfection. I’m already dreaming of my next visit!

We had an exceptional stay at Paradise Cove Resort, certainly one of the best we've ever experienced. The place is a real haven of peace: calm, relaxing and surrounded by breathtaking nature. The resort also offers a wide variety of activities. And what about the food? It's simply delicious, with fresh and tasty dishes. The team was simply fantastic. Warm, attentive and always ready to listen, they showed great professionalism, particularly in taking care of my numerous food allergies. Everything was done to ensure that I felt safe and could enjoy my stay to the full, which really touched us. Thanks again to César and the whole team for these magical moments. We'll be back without hesitation !

Navutu Stars Resort je jediný butikový resort na odlehlém ostrové Yaqeta s pouhými 9 plážovými bungalovy rozloženými podél 3 nedotčených pláží s bílým pískem. The amazing location, very friendly and personal approach of the staff and the very comfortable and stylish decorated apartment. The welcome and farewell songs were the icing on the cake and really enjoyed the trip to the Blue Lagoon and positively surprised to have a massage included. Also liked being picked-up by small boat from the ferry.

Ekologický Barefoot Manta Island Resort se nachází na odlehlých ostrovech Yasawa a má ideální polohu pro koupání, potápění a šnorchlování. Všechny bungalovy jsou umístěné na pláži. The tented beachfront Queen Bure 18 was a magical beautiful comfortable place to stay with the sound of the ocean and the wind in the palm trees. Our trip was Oct 16-20 2024 and we had ideal weather and perfect conditions for snorkeling except for one afternoon when it rained heavily for 3 hours and it was damp in the Bure that day. I would probably avoid the rainy season November to March. The snorkeling was spectacular right from the beach except for the boat channel sections. There is often a free guided snorkel which is highly recommended. The most beautiful section is between manta beach and sunrise beach, far out from shore just before the drop off into deeper water. The sea was calm and visibility was excellent. If it’s not too windy you can snorkel from sunset beach at high tide, go out to the drop off, then snorkel to the right, snorkel past manta beach, then to sunrise beach where you can exit via the boat channel, this takes about 45 minutes. Huge variety of coral and fish, amazingly beautiful. You can also scuba dive. We heard and read that Barefoot Manta Resort has the best snorkeling in all of Fiji and it seems true. Look at the underwater photos at barefootmantaresort.com; it really does look like that, incredibly healthy beautiful reef. Four marine biologists work at this resort and build the reef by planting more coral. Many sections are sheltered from the wind due to the bays and the channel between the islands, allowing the coral to thrive. We were fortunate to snorkel with the Manta Rays on one of our 5 mornings here. The rest of the time and the previous 2 weeks they were not there. The best time to reliably see the mantas is apparently June-July. The staff are super friendly and fun and they all seem to sing in addition to their regular jobs. The food and entertainment were great. The hike up to the viewpoints was great. The free wifi in the lobby and dining area worked well most of the time.

Mantaray Resort Fiji se nachází v krásném souostroví Yasawa a nabízí soukromé pokoje a sdílené noclehárny. The staff are so happy to interact. I get the feeling they all enjoy their days. The food was excellent and the snorkeling good right here. We are staying another 3 nights, it's so nice.
