In the morning the owner offered to help find a hotel that had generator. The location was good for me, a little out of town but peaceful. I decided to stay and she provided free breakfast; then the power came back on.

If you are looking for a nice place off the beaten path, this is a great spot. Diving spot right next door is awesome and the staff was amazing. Cook makes some great food as well.

They could have said not our problem . But they did not .They care about the people that stay there and were very helpful .

The main reason we were in the area was to see the whale sharks in Oslob, and the team was incredibly helpful with arranging transport and guiding us through the ticketing process. Their support made the experience seamless and stress-free. The resort itself is beautiful—our room was clean, comfortable, and eco-friendly, and we loved the delicious vegetarian meal options. For snorkeling and diving enthusiasts, the coral reefs just off the property are stunning, and exploring them was a true highlight. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with outstanding service and easy access to incredible underwater adventures, Emoha Dive Resort is an excellent choice. We hope to return soon!

Cuestas Beach Resort and Restaurant er staðsett í Badian og býður upp á einkastrandsvæði, ekki sandbar. Viđ erum međ stķrkostleg kķralrif um 130 metra. frá ströndinni. Very homely resort, amazing staff, beautiful rooms and delicious meals. The pool is superbly big and a great welcome in the heat. Well located near all tourist attractions.

For a Singaporean, this meets the comfort and service level that I was hoping to have in Moalboal. Most accommodations are not as modern or clean (based on pictures), which is understandable as it is a developing municipality. I was impressed with the following: - Staff are super nice and helpful. We also spoke with the owner and his wife, and they are lovely people who travel a fair bit, and have implemented high standards on their property. For example, they work very hard to provide clean water to the rooms (shower/ tap), and in Moalboal, this requires a lot of filters and hard work. - The bed is comfortable, and the area is quiet yet very central to very good cafes/ restaurants. Clean kettle. Modern TV with netflix/ amazon prime/ airplay. There is a fridge + water dispenser! Aircon is great & adjustable (and bonus that it's not directly blowing into your face but positioned away from the bed). - The compound and the rooms are really clean and well scrubbed down daily (we saw the housekeeping team in action and taking their work very seriously). - There are areas to wash down your sandy feet when you come back from the beach. - They have a rack for you to sun your wet clothes outside the room! - The laundry service is great, we saw the staff hand washing our clothes & sunning them well. - They provide great quality life vests and snorkel equipment. - The cafe beside them (westcost cafe moalboal) serves great coffee & food. - They provide very comfortable transport (via another company) to take you to and fro cebu city. (ours was a big toyota car with good suspension for the testy cebu roads) - This hotel only has 8 rooms, so you need to be lucky to snag a stay with them. They also have 2 cute sausage dogs! Couldn't recommend this place more, and of course we left a generous tip. Thanks a lot guys!

Very helpful, friendly staff that help with everything. Organised our shuttle to and from Cebu airport. We came primarily to swim with whale sharks and AJs place is the best place to do that from. Literally 3 min walk to the whale shark swimming. We did 2 sessions with the whale sharks in a single day. The rooms are super clean and all the amenities are great. We want to come back to Oslob and stay at AJs place to swim with whale sharks again.
