“I had been to Vila 43 twice for lunch but stayed overnight for the first time. The setting is beautiful, right by the lake, with cozy rooms, great breakfast and amazing water to swim in.
What truly stood out was the hospitality. I had to cancel my original booking last minute due to a family emergency. The son, who manages bookings, responded with professionalism and understanding. When I returned two weeks later, I insisted on offering compensation… they initially refused, but accepted after I explained I’d feel embarrassed otherwise. As a kind gesture, the owner gifted us a bottle of local wine.
We arrived very late, but the mother was waiting with a smile. She clearly had a soft spot for us as a young couple, treated us with care, almost like babysitting us in the sweetest way.

I have travelled all around Albania and if you need a place to relax, I would highly recommend the village of Lin and Rosa's place.
