The room was brilliant with outside shower and toilet.Bed was comfortable. Food was good and they did alcohol if you asked. The assistant manager and the boy who did the food and everything else were excellent.Our driver couldn't find the place so they rang him and someone went on a bike to find him. They were the best. Near sigiriya rock and some good cafes.coffee shop and cash machine.

Not a criticism as it was fine for us, but the open air aspect of the rooms can make it very noisy when it is raining hard and early hours of the morning with bird noise. We loved this but if you sleep light you may want to bring ear plugs.

We loved the remote aspect of the place, you really are in the middle of nature, we were woken by monkey feet on the roof and one peering under the canopy at us. The kitchen were able to adapt the menu to be vegan and we had a delicious dinner and breakfasts. There are lots of activities that can be arranged, unfortunately the weather stopped us, but this can’t be helped after all you’re in the middle of the jungle. We were also able to get a short tuk tuk ride into the main town, we were advised not to walk after dark as there are wild elephants in the area. We would recommend doing the short hike up nearby Pidurangala rock for sunrise, this was incredible. Total relaxation and an experience we will never forget.

If you are going to do the lorries tour, don’t book it from tripadvisor/viator, book it directly through the accommodation! It is much cheaper!

I understand it’s part of the jungle experience but everything was damp- the bedding and all our clothes

The experience was really fun living in an open tree house! The noises especially at night were amazing and listening to the thunder storms and wildlife around. The staff were friendly and accommodating with the children.

This place is not only a „hotel”, you get a whole experience package from sleeping in a three house, being so close to nature to great location with Padalangala walking distance and Sigiriya. Hosts are very friendly helping with organizing bikes, loris watching, everything you need basically. I would highly recommend to anyone who hesitates, hope to come back one day :)

So close to the nature! Amazing vibe during the day and night - we were lucky to have fireflies in our house during the evening while lying in bed unbelievable experience.

the tree house is a unique experience, if you love nature is a must to try! We have been there with our 2 kids (5 and 8 years) and they loved it! Lizards, birds, monkeys, butterflies, you have everything around you, the connection with nature is great there. Staff is super friendly and available, food is also very good! You are walking distance form Pidurangala, and 10 minutes by car from Sigiriya

It was really nice to sleep and hear the sounds of the nature. In the morning the sunlight was lightening the treehouse which was really nice to wake up. The staff was really friendly and helped us with everything. Would definitly book it again.

The only downside is that Booking takes a large chunk of the portion of the money. On top of that, you have to pay the place in cash (which I didn't think was the case as I needed to put in credit card information). Remember to take a lot of cash with you!

Much more expensive than average stay here. Tree houses are a special experience but there are no walls or doors - something female travellers should bear in mind. One manager was a bit pushy about night safari and could be occasionally curt.

Stunning place, 5 minutes walk from entrance to Pidurangala temple. Food was excellent and rooms are beautifully designed. Majority of staff extremely friendly and helpful.

The wifi is not the best for obvious reason, but that was a good part - but maybe is also a bad thing for some guests.

Rooms must be paid for in cash. This wasn't made very clear so we had some trouble finding an ATM. Would be helpful if they could take credit cards or at least be clearer about the need to bring cash.

The most incredible location in the forest. Pls visit this lodge and explore. Wonderful to walk from the lodge to Sigiriya and Pidarangala rocks. We also did a night time walk in the jungle looking for Loris and other animals. We saw 3 Loris! Our children were totally enchanted. Treehouse rooms are so much fun, very well built, a unique experience to sleep outside (with good quality nets). The dinner was absolutely delicious - really authentic, home-cooked style Sri Lankan food. Just perfect.
