Staff was nice and food in the new riad (old city palace) was very good. Try the chicken pastila, it's amazing. Our luggage was moved from one riad to another.

If there were any flaws, the staffs Nadir, Omar & lady chef N compensated them all. The staffs were gems!! Very helpful, very pleasant and polite.
The riad was just like what we imagine, beautiful! location was not too deep into the Medina, easily reachable via Bab Boujloud and the Batha post. Our room was on the top floor, next to the terrace and the rooftop seating. Bathroom with bidet for the toilet is a rare finding!! Dinner we had was fantastic and breakfast were nice and varies everyday, still traditional and adequate portion.

Dar Bensouda is the perfect combination of charm and comfort. It’s perfectly preserved and boutique without being pretentious. The staff were absolutely incredible- warm, hospitable, and eager to help you in any way. Yassine is an unbelievable manager, and he graciously coordinated tours, hammams, and dinners for us (all of which were all amazing). I spent 2 weeks traveling around Morocco, and staying here was easily the best part of my trip.

The property is pretty easy to find. The hostess Hanae is very gracious and helpful. She can also arrange just about any tour you want … excursions outside Fes, tours of the Medina area which can be quite confusing on your own, Moroccan cooking classes, etc. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was also good.

The Riad was beautiful! The staff were very kind and even helped our friends who did not stay here find another Riad after a poor experience at their first place! The bed and showers were excellent and it was so nice to have AC with how hot the weather was! We had a wonderful breakfast as well provided by the Riad! The located was good, out of the busy streets filled with shops but a super close walk! Would definitely recommend!

This is a great traditional Moroccan Riad.
Super clean, lovely central courtyard where the dining tables are located.
Beautiful Riad cat, very friendly.
Hassan and his staff are all extremely helpful and friendly and go out of their way to please .
Breakfast is adequate for the day ahead. Evening meals are wonderful.
It has a hammam, and Hassan is an excellent masseuse .
It is located 20 meters from the entrance to the oldest, largest medina in the world.
Overall we had a great time staying here.
The Riad is very historical, it had authentic ornament on the walls and super high courtyard. We got the very nice room next to the rooftop which was very beautiful. We liked a lot the bathroom with the Moroccan tiles.
Riad Al Makan is situated in the heart of the city, a 10-minute walk from the entrance to the Medina. Upon arrival, you will be offered mint tea and cookies, which is a delightful treat. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated with a Moroccan flair. The Riad features two inner courtyards adorned with exquisite mosaics and traditional-style interiors.
The staff at Riad Al Makan were extremely helpful, and their recommendations for places to visit and dine were exceptional!
Beautiful stylish room with fantastic air con system which was badly needed in July :). The courtyard of the riad is perfect for a relaxing time beside the small pool - traditional Moroccan breakfast is also served here every morning! We also booked in for a private hammam and massage, which we both enjoyed greatly. Location is a dream, right in the centre of Fes' medina, and with a breathtaking view from the upstairs balcony!
Very friendly staff from very start of our stay, extremely helpful as well. Riad itself even though from the outside doesn’t look welcoming once you cross the front door you’ll be amazed by it - traditional Moroccan design, very relaxing inner courtyard, clean and well maintained room and great bonus - traditional breakfast. If I ever come back to Fes I’ll definitely stay there
It lies in the middle of the historical city and provides you with the unique experience to live in a traditional moroccan house. Moreover Omar, the receptionist is very friendly and will help you estimating the prices of different things that you want to buy. The breakfast takes place in a moroccan decorated room, which makes you feel like the sultan. It is the ideal retreat from the craziness of the moroccan city life.
Great Location in the heart of the Medina and near all major attractions. The property is an old Moroccan house so it’s very traditional with all rooms located around a central courtyard. Nice view of the medina from the terrace especially at night when you just want to sit down and enjoy the cool breeze. The property is very clean and the staff showed Moroccan hospitality at its best. Aminah was so lovely and both Hamzah and Yousef were extremely friendly and informative. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you Dar Panoramic Fez 😀
Nourdin picked us from our transfer, and guided us to the riad, in its central, Medina location, before welcoming us with traditional Moroccan tea in the beautiful courtyard. This was just the start of four days of wonderful hospitality from Nourdin, who had explained that we weren't guests in the riad, we were family, along with Mahmoud, Younes, and all the team. During our stay they organised transfers, tours, luggage storage, and even fashioned a protective tube for some canvesses purchased from a local artist before we left.
Beautiful Riad, our room was vey big with traditional very detailed moroccan old style interier. Good location in Medina, walking distance to main sightseeings. Tasty traditional breakfast. Nice inner garden with fountain.
Le Grand Alcazar is run by two brother that are the nicest gentlemen. They are so accommodating and respectful. They have done such a wonderful job renovating the riad and keeping the historical parts of the building. We stayed in the turquoise room which was decorated beautifully. The courtyard is well kept and we loved sitting there to sip on Moroccan tea and eat desserts. The breakfast was also superb!
