Guest reviewgreat location overlooking the river. Rooftop onsen has great view. Buffet breakfast and dinner were great value. My first time in Japan, Ueda and it's surroundings are wonderful. Riverside Uedakan, HAI !

The Onsen bath was incredible, the room spacious and clean with everything I required, even plugs/cords for phone charging. Breakfast was amazing with an array of choices. They also have a small adjacent room where you can get free coffee and work on your computer. The only complaint was the location, but then I knew that before I went so not an issue. The hosts are kind of local celebrities and everyone knows them, so it was a lot of fun staying there. It was nice to be able to recharge and relax here. The onsens were great. Only regret is we didn’t stay longer to explore more of the town.
