Dinner and food excelent. Attentive staff. Even dried our shoes after rain. Onson was relaxing. Shuttle bus easy and regular.

The Ryokan is very close to the Itsukushima Shrine and the Momijidani Ropeway. So its very convenient to visit the Shrine at 6.30, return for breakfast and then head to the ropeway which begins service by 9.00. The staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast and dinner were excellent, especially the vegetarian meal. It is a short walk away from the ferry terminal, but the Ryokan offers a shuttle service for pick-up and drop.

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms.

The beds were comfortable and the staff were nice. Short walk to the ropeway that takes you up the mountain.

I had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect. All the furnishings were beautiful. The hosts were friendly and helpful. I was able to have a vegetarian breakfast which I appreciated. Would love to stay here again.
