We booked a traditional room, so had to make our own futons which the kids loved helping to set it up. We were travelling the Kyushu region for the last 12 days, and definitely the best hotel breakfast we have had. It’s an old hotel, but it looks like internal renovations were done. Staff was very kind to explain to us about breakfast, dinner time and facilities in the resort. He also brought us to our room at 4th floor. Onsen was superb, and as stated, the hot spring water is really different from other parts of Japan. It's silky smooth.
