Featuring a terrace with views of Lake Ashi, Hakone・Ashinoko Hanaori offers a soothing hot spring bath and sauna. The property is situated a 2-minute walk from Togendai Station on Hakone Ropeway. Everything! The onsan facilities were the best! It was better than any other hotel we have been in. The view is AMAZING, the clothes that are given are beautiful and comfortable ,the food was great, the staff were so nice and helping, the location is perfect (just note that is far from any store or restaurant) but close to the pirate ship and to the cable car.

Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. We like the dinner and breakfast prepared by them. Private onsen Excellent host and the staffs

Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. The hotel was amazing! Fantastic onsen, fantastic people, very good breakfast and an amazing teppanyaki diner!

Very nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood. We had the traditional room which was very ample and comfortable. We enjoyed having the possibility to have breakfast (with different great options). Personal speak perfect English and are very helpful in answering our questions

Opened in 1878, Fujiya Hotel features Meiji Era architecture set in Hakone’s natural beauty. Everything was amazing! A true experience to stay in this hotel.

Situated in the Asakusa area, Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu has a history of 70 years. The accommodation boasts a view of the Tokyo Skytree from its Hinoki wood bath. Staff were excellent, relaxing atmosphere, and professional place. Great location and nice room.

The lodging is participating in a local tourism programme that provides some perks and benefits when patronising certain stores / places. I particularly like the 5-min sake tasting experience at Buko Shuzo.
