Situated along Tanohara River and surrounded by tranquil nature in Kurokawa Onsen hot spring area, Oku no Yu Ryokan offers charming Japanese-style accommodation and various hot spring baths. We booked a Japanese-style riverside villa with our own private bath — the spacious interior and beautiful outdoor views were well worth the price. There were many different types of public baths too with varying views/ambiances. Dinner and breakfast were top-notch — you can tell that they’re made of quality ingredients.

Syukubo Aso è ubicato ad Aso, a 33 km da Egao Kenko Stadium Kumamoto e 42 km da Castello di Kumamoto. The building was very beautiful, the meals were delicious, the private onsens were nice and we loved our room. We would have really liked to stay more than 1 day.

Breakfast and dinner that was provided was really good. Staff was really attentive and welcoming as well. They prepared decaf tea for us, even making sure that the meal was catered to what you asked for (no raw food, no beef etc). They helped us to parked the car, and even help to clean the exterior of our car! Room was great to experience local culture. Private onsen facilities was wonderful as well, just need to queue for it.

Ubicato ad Aso, a 29 km da Egao Kenko Stadium Kumamoto e 38 km da Castello di Kumamoto, Minshuku Asogen propone un giardino e il WiFi gratuito, oltre a un parcheggio privato gratuito per chi viaggia... We love Asogen, specially the meals we had for dinner and breakfast the morning after. The food quality was beyond our expectation for the price we paid for half-board. The room was nice and clean with a simple Japanese touch. The lighting in the cubical made the toilet look like an art installation! We will be happy to stay at Asogen again anytime!

We can feel the dedication and care that the hotel owner puts into managing the hotel. Every detail, from the room decor to the food and service for breakfast and dinner, is meticulously prepared. The comfort and decoration in the rooms feel very thoughtful! You can see the sakura petal decorations on the windows and the high-quality patterned and textured toilet paper in the bathroom, showing the owner’s attention to detail. Each room has its own private hot spring bath and toilet. We were pleasantly surprised that the hot spring water flows continuously, which is a huge plus for us after a tiring journey. The preparation of breakfast and dinner in the restaurant is also very thoughtful. The staff provide excellent service, and the food is both delicious and beautifully presented. Overall, it is truly perfect. We would give it a full score.

Il Kurokawa Onsen Yama no Yado Shinmeikan vanta 5 vasche termali, tra cui una lunga 30 metri. Location. Stunning view and atmosphere. Sympathy from the staff. Kudos for Shujan for his kindness and informative interaction. Amazing food experience.

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. Staff is very nice. Dinner and Breakfast are perfact and elegant. Onsen is also very good.

Located in Minami Aso in the Kumamoto Region, 10 km from Naka-dake, Hotel Yumeshizuku boasts a hot spring bath and sauna. Each room at this hotel is air conditioned and features a flat-screen TV. The private onsen was very nice. Hotel had good facilities like foot spa with a great view of Mt Aso. Dinner and breakfast was great and staff were friendly and able to speak english.
