Ubytovanie Tabinoyado Saikawa sa nachádza v destinácii Kuroishi 33 km od miesta Jazero Towada a ponúka bezplatné Wi-Fi a bezplatné súkromné parkovisko. This is a traditional Japanese ryokan with public baths (gender separated). Dinner and breakfast are amazing and plentiful, with locally sourced organic produce (even coffee!). Our room (Japanese room with private toilet) was to the left of the entrance. It was very spacious. The heater worked very well as autumn night was a bit damp and cold. The beds are futons on wood bed frames on tatami, and they are super comfortable. As I have a whole-leg tattoo which is usually not permitted in the public baths, I notified Ranko in advance, and she reserved the private bath for us. The private bath was a very beautiful blue ceramic bath filled with warm (I don’t think it’s very hot) healing hot spring water from the area. Ranko’s warm personality really made the stay memorable. Be sure to ask her for recommendations of the areas. She is a well of knowledge of the area!

A really wonderful hotel in Matsushima - great for those traveling with a rental car. The hotel is clean and comfortable with all the essentials you may need. The traditional Japanese style rooms are large and the local area is very peaceful. The indoor hot tub is very relaxing, and nicely matches the interior design of the hotel. The staff are the highlight - they are all really polite and friendly. There are also two friendly dogs! This hotel employs young staff with varying abilities - all of whom were very attentive. This is a hotel worth supporting, and after staying here I feel like part of the family!

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights for Drift Matsuri in November. We were blown away by how big our room was. The staff were so friendly, even if they didn't speak a lot of English, but made the effort to help you where they could. The room was clean and comfortable. Loved waking up to the view of the mountains in the distance.

Private Onsen/Hot spring was amazing. Staff were very accommodating and the Cherry blossom in full bloom along the nearby river was a huge bonus. Excellent artworks throughout the property

Ubytovanie Kutsurogijyuku Shintaki sa nachádza v destinácii Aizuwakamatsu 3,8 km od miesta Mount Iimori a 5,1 km od miesta Stanica Aizuwakamatsu. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Courteous staff and public bath was good.

Ubytovanie Takasagoya Ryokan sa nachádza v destinácii Zao Onsen v regióne Yamagata 2 min. chôdze od miesta lyžiarske stredisko Zao Hotsprings. The breakfast and dinner is traditional Japanese and is excellent and value for money. The dinner was especially sumptuous and was more than expected. It had a small onsen and for the more adventurous you can also use on of the 3 public onsen that was only steps away from the front door. It's exceptionally close to the ski lift - easily walkable even with gear.

Tokinenoyado Yunushi Ichijoh is situated in the Kamasaki Onsen district in Shiroishi, a 15-minute drive from Shiroishi Station and Shiroishi-Zao Station. Where to begin? The room was excellent in size and had a nice feeling to it. The onsen was close by. The staff was so kind and service minded. The whole experience with dinner and breakfast was exceptional, especially the staff member whom served us with excellent English. Just the whole experience was quite wonderful.
