I Atami, 1,7 kilometer fra Atami Sun Beach, ligger SOKI ATAMI, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en terrasse og en restaurant. Fabulous room: private outdoor onsen, huge bath tube and a separate balcony. Big TV set with huge couch to sit on. Outstanding breakfast. Extremely attentive and supportive staff. All services — at a top notch. Great choice for a few days relax from Tokyo hype.

I Shirakawa-go, 45 kilometer fra Hida Minzoku Mura landsbymuseum, ligger Onyado Yuinosho, som har en fellesstue, gratis privat parkering, en restaurant og en bar. Perfekt overnattingssted for avslapping etter en dag med sightseeing. Onsen har flere basseng å velge mellom og er svært behagelige. Vi fikk låne lounge wear og kimonoer til å gå rundt med på hotellet, til og med spise middag og frokost i. En veldig fin perle oppe i fjellet.

Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. Veldig hyggelig vertskap. Ryokan Asunaro var et nydelig sted med flotte rom og et fint onsen. Anbefaler å gå for halv pensjon med middag og frokost- begge måltider var helt storveis.

Oyado Koto No Yume ligger bare 2 minutters gange fra Takayama stasjon og har rom i japansk stil med fargerike innslag, termalbad, en restaurant og gratis Wi-Fi overalt. The staff were so kind and accommodating, and truly tried to go above and beyond for their guests. Every time we came back to the hotel we were greeted with an enthusiastic welcome back and ushered into the warmth and comfort of the reception area. Breakfast was exceptional and beautifully presented. The hotel also arranged for our luggage to be sent to our next destination which was extremely helpful as it meant we didn’t have to worry about storage lockers during our visit to nearby Shirakawa-go. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we’d be beyond delighted to come back.

I Takayama, 18 minutters gange fra Takayama stasjon, ligger Iroriyado Hidaya, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering og en fellesstue. Loved the experience and the team is definitely the highlight!

I Izu, under 1 kilometer fra Shuzenji-tempelet, ligger Oni no Sumika, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering og en bar. Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The staff were so friendly and helpful and surprised us with a beautiful cake celebrating our honeymoon! The room was immaculate and so nicely made up with great views and excellent use of space with so much storage. Excellent amenities and super comfy beds. The bathroom with private indoor/outdoor onsen was fantastic. The staff helped us book massages and taxi transfers. A perfect quiet retreat during our busy trip to Japan.

I Atami, bare 2,5 kilometer fra Atami Sun Beach og 25 kilometer fra Hakone-Yumoto stasjon ligger Atami Sekaie. The breakfast and dinner were great. We enjoyed some of traditional Japanese dishes. Also we enjoyed coffee at the balcony over looking the Pacific Ocean. The location was quiet and privacy was ensured, so we were able to maintain our Nonerelaxing time. Last but not least, guest room with private open-air bath was great.

I Kawazu, bare 37 kilometer fra Shuzenji-tempelet og 45 kilometer fra Daruma-fjellet ligger Isoaruki no Yuyado Ushiogumo -6 years or older-. Exceptionally attentive staff with some of the best hospitality we've ever experienced. The private bath was amazing, with beautiful views, and the food was excellent. It was a shame that, due to travel plans, we couldn't stay longer and enjoy the local area, especially given the extra complimentary services and amenities that were offered for beach-going - very thoughtful!
