Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. Everything was great. Good location. Very welcoming staff. Liked the Onsen. Traditional meals were great.

Oyado Koto No Yume ligger 2 minuters promenad från Takayamas station och erbjuder färgglada rum i japansk stil. The staff were so kind and accommodating, and truly tried to go above and beyond for their guests. Every time we came back to the hotel we were greeted with an enthusiastic welcome back and ushered into the warmth and comfort of the reception area. Breakfast was exceptional and beautifully presented. The hotel also arranged for our luggage to be sent to our next destination which was extremely helpful as it meant we didn’t have to worry about storage lockers during our visit to nearby Shirakawa-go. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we’d be beyond delighted to come back.

Ryokan Hostel K’s House ligger i en 100 år gammal kulturminnesmärkt byggnad i Shizuoka, 7 minuters promenad från järnvägsstationen JR Ito. Vandrarhemmet erbjuder termalbad, gratis WiFi och 3 lounger. Trevligt och bra boende. Skulle rekommendera alla som ska förbi Ito att bo här. Bra allmänna utrymmen och Onsen var mycket bra!

Syukaen Yunohanazen är ett 4-stjärnigt boende beläget i Atami, 14 minuters promenad från Atami Sun strand och 27 km från Hakone-Yumoto station. There's a lot of food for everyone, even for kids. And the food is very delicious. Room is comfortable, shuttle is convenient.

The staff were so friendly and helpful and surprised us with a beautiful cake celebrating our honeymoon! The room was immaculate and so nicely made up with great views and excellent use of space with so much storage. Excellent amenities and super comfy beds. The bathroom with private indoor/outdoor onsen was fantastic. The staff helped us book massages and taxi transfers. A perfect quiet retreat during our busy trip to Japan.

The breakfast and dinner were great. We enjoyed some of traditional Japanese dishes. Also we enjoyed coffee at the balcony over looking the Pacific Ocean. The location was quiet and privacy was ensured, so we were able to maintain our Nonerelaxing time. Last but not least, guest room with private open-air bath was great.

Isoaruki no Yuyado Ushiogumo -6 years or older- ligger i Kawazu, inom 37 km från Shuzenji-templet och 45 km från Mount Daruma, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård och gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen samt... Exceptionally attentive staff with some of the best hospitality we've ever experienced. The private bath was amazing, with beautiful views, and the food was excellent. It was a shame that, due to travel plans, we couldn't stay longer and enjoy the local area, especially given the extra complimentary services and amenities that were offered for beach-going - very thoughtful!
