We were really warmly welcomed. Everything was ready and got even a little cake on our arrival. The room was spacious and fully equipped (fully equipped kitchen, hair dryer in the bathroom, ...). I can only recommend.

We had unique opprtunity to be first guest at Horatius home☺️ Thank you so much to Virginia for welcoming us. Everything was perfect, the most confortable bed, every detail is planned in advance. It’s a 2 floor villa, feels a lot of space. Breathtaking view to mountains from room, bathroom (!) and terrase! Kitchen is full equiped, there was everything for breakfast. Newborhood is very quet, near horses and in 10 min cows. For transport, we took taxi to get to city center, also can be bus, stop is near. Great escape from busy center but still be near.

The location is very good for exploring the area (by car), both Lugano and Locarno are within a reasonable distance, and there are many great hikes to choose from. Even better, if you happen to visit during the autumn, on the hill directly across the road you can collect chestnuts and mushrooms. We also had a chance to check out the built-in safe room (bunker), which served as bicycle storage during our stay! The kitchen is well equipped and there is a large fridge for those who cook for themselves.
