The hotel has a nice guest lounge if you have a small room for a break out area. The hotel offers a free pick up service from the station if you have luggage and has parking underneath . The better rooms are the larger ones with balcony , so pay more the upgrade if you can . We were attending a festival on the Eggli mountain and the apartment was right next to the lift up the mountain. I imagine this would also be a perfect location for a ski holiday. It was clean and the hosts were very responsive and accommodating. It's a bit old school but well kept up and clean. There’s a playground and a kids club. Our 4-year-old son enjoyed playing there. We also really liked the design both in the lobby and the room. The staff is attentive and friendly. The village (Saanen) is a short walk away and very cute. Gstaad can be reached in five minutes by car or a short bike ride. There is also a bus stop in front of the hotel.
