United StatesThis place is clean and cozy. The best part is the host, who is always there to help. We had some issues with our tour company for the early morning pick up. The host managed to help us out. He also checked with us to make sure we are fine. We felt very welcomed.
The host helped us find a sunset Felucca. The captain chose to sail behind a big sand dune. So the sunset was totally blocked by the sand dune. The wind was not strong there so it took much longer to finish. We have to pay 50% more than original price because “the trip is longer than originally quoted”. It was frustrating that we didn’t see the sunset, be late for our dinner and bitten by bugs while the boat is not moving. I recommend a different felucca captain.

United StatesOur arrival was seamless; Ahmed arranged our driver from the airport, we were met by his family at the public ferry and escorted to our house, which was basic but clean and comfortable. I can't say enough about how well Ahmed looked after us and helped to arrange activities. He even offered to help coordinate things in Luxor after we left Aswan. If you'd like to experience living in a traditional Nubian neighborhood, Nefertari House is the place to be! It's also conveniently located near the public ferry and the Aswan museum/archeological site.

It has very clean, light, cool rooms. A great terrace where excellent breakfast is served, as well as lunch or diner if you want. Very hospitable staff, truly wonderful people. They also offer good service with excursions to Abu Simbel, or felucca tours. There are very good restaurants very closeby (King Jamaica, Bob Marley.
