The house was very well equipped and pretty. The owners were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They picked us up from the train station. It was a short walk to the lake where you could swim. The village of Traunkirchen was not far to walk and from there you can catch a boat to Gmunden. They are a few cafes in Traunkirchen too. Traunkirchen is a pretty little village. It was nice to get away from the crowds in Vienna.

We were travelling with my parents and children, and the house was perfect for that purpose. The garden is nice to let the children go out, and also make a BBQ. Everything is accessible from walking distance. The house itself is clean, and the "old style" decoration and furniture are lovely. It would be a pleasure to come back at Haus Traundorf.
